Chef Kecik Cafe

The food was exquisite, only the bagel shakshuka was not as I expected. IMHO the shakshuka sauce should be fairly thick. The kids loved everything we ordered. I finished my breakfast with the cappuccino. Still, the scent of cinnamon killed me off, should have just stick with the hazelnut latte😅

We came at 10 am and there was a short q. We decided to eat outside, so no que. This was my first dine in here, my family of 4 spent abt RM200 for breakfast. Price a bit steep for me. Other than the pricing, food are ok esp the nasi lemak. The sambal was lip-smacking delicious and they are generous with the sambal. The sambal was packed separately. The croissant set came with whipped cream and thick chocolate. The croissant does not taste buttery. Canele cost RM9 each, taste good, madeline taste ok RM4.50. Nasi lemak with sunnyside egg RM7. Other foods were ok.

My first time having lunch here! The foods are really good, the croissants are mouth-watering! Got myself a jar of sea salt cookies too. The cafe is comfy and spacious, making it a really nice place to hangout with family and friends. Highly recommended! Will definitely come again🫶🏻

Went there bcoz of the recent hype about this cafe. A lot of people queing for dine in. Hence decided for take out. Varieties of pastries and cakes displayed. Tastes yummy as told. Service was quite fast. Will pay another visit next time

CK : sedapp. Croissant dia freshly baked, crunchy and buttery. Hot chocolate sedap. Recommended.

Cinnamon roll: soft, not too sweet, the cinnamon flavour was on point. Recommended

Pain au chocolat: splendid! Pastry was crunchy, taste was on point. Recommended

Cromboloni pistachio: too sweet, the pastry is not crunchy, the pistachio taste was not there.

Cromboloni raspberry: the filling was okay, but if there is a real chunk of raspberry would be much better. The pastry was crunchy.

In my opinion: Both cromboloni that we had were bassically white chocolate and cream cheese only. Doesnt taste any specialty.

Nasi butterchicken: The buttermilk taste was over power by curry flavor. The chicken was crispy and tender.

Staffs was friendly and the service was fast.

Please try their signature Kuih Bakar Cheesecake it’s superb and something that you will definitely remembered. Oh their laksa johor is five star taste. Highly recommended

Got two floors for dine in. Can order and pay via qr code on the table if u dine in so plus point if you're introvert (dont have to queue and order at counter). Staff are friendly and helpful (assist you to get table if u dine in). Foods are all good 👍🏻 Love the cinnamon roll as it's soft to chew. Recommended to share with others if you want to try lots of pastries so that you wont feel "muak"

Great pastry cafe. I absolutely love the matcha and biscoff cromboloni (the matcha one the best). Not too sweet but thick with flavour, filled with delicious cream with crunchy outer layer. Other pastries are delicious too. I'd come all the way to semenyih for this! The nasi lemak is pretty decent too!

Nice environment and tip-top service.
We ordered nasi lemak, shakshuka, kecik breakfast, and egg benedict. The food was delicious although the kecik breakfast and egg benedict dish were a bit dry.

Best place to chill out with your family & friends. Been here for 2 times already, the food are all delicious, the sitting also okay, got lots of space, not too cramp. Overall, i feel like Chef Kecik deserved 5 stars 👍🏻

Very satisfied will all-foods,services,drinks..i don’t regret had to come to Semenyih just to taste their croissants with various filling and the famous CK Set. The croissant very nice,soft and not dry. Still don’t have a chance to taste laksa Johor and other lunch menu because we always come for breakfast..will repeat!

- Easy to find, if you come during peak hours, might be an issue

- Greeted by the waitress with a huge smile on her face 😁
- It was peak hour so a bit slow but they are working hard

3. Food
- Tbh I only had their pastries
- It’s hard to find good pastries in Semenyih, theirs are the best
- Cromboloni are not that sweet, buttery, flaky
- Cakes had their Pandan Gula Melaka, loveeee
- Canelle ahhh perfection!

The place is so crowded but the service is good and efficient💪

Besides the usual pastries that are good, their Laksa Johor tastes authentic. I also got the black caramel cookies that are recommendable.

The pastri was is So good. The drinks also delicious and also price is affordable, for the place is okay not so huge but not too crowded 🥰🫰🏻

Great ambience and environment. Parking was ample. Yes you should come to try their patisseries.

A pretty pleasant breakfast. It is just a tiny bit overpriced for the just normally nice tasting food. None of the food are overdone and they are perfectly balanced.

It’s my second time here and I love the canale among others. The canale texture was spot on! Not many bakeries offer this French pastry. Ambiance is cozy and staffs are polite. This is by far my favourite bakery cafe in Eco for my weekend brunch fix or a tea-time pick me up. Will revisit to try other items on the menu. Please keep up the good food quality ^^ Maybe Chef can consider a weekday tea time combo for customer to enjoy a good deal (:
