Kemaman Zoo & Recreation Park

A lovely experience as a recreational park with the benefit of incorporating a zoo. The Lar Gibbon stole our hearts and put on an amazing show for us! The diversity of the park was wonderful.

I would personally wish the animals had a minimum population of 2 so they have company. I would also wish the birds had an aviary rather than cages where they are limited in space to fly.

Certainly recommended for a visit!

I came on Friday during my trip from Kelantan to Johor for Hari Raya Haji 2022. On Friday, they say, they don't have a bus for easy travel, maybe I hear them wrong but we have to travel by foot to all places that day.

There is a new section that newly opened but the design is too open (had to walk under the sun). It was sunny and hot so all the animals were inactive and staying under the shade. So it is hard to see them because the shade is far from us.

The old section is better because it is close to each other and under the tree (shade). It was a nice experience here especially the tiger and the White eagle.

There is also a river cruise but I did not go there. The water park is closed during my visit.

I will come and visit again in future...

For RM5 per adult, it was really cheap compared to what this place has to offer. So many animal kingdoms, even huge swimming pool to swim with family! Got playground too. I won't say it's a mini zoo, it's a huge one. Don't worry for the scorching sun, it's a shady and stroller-friendly. Got river cruise also for RM5.

Worth to come. Well maintained infrastructure. Clean toilet. Delicious safari restaurant. A lot of animals compare to zoo kuantan🤭. U can find tiger, buaya tembaga, seladang, rusa, musang, kuda, etc. Recommendation for future, add more animals here because the safari is very big.

Great place to spend your family time with the kids. There are varieties of animals ie. Elephant, tigers, crocodile, orang utans, cipanzy, tapir, etc. A good place to enhances our kids knowledge. The entrance fee is cheap and there was a tram / mini train available too. 👍

Fairly good variety of animals.. More natural set up here if compared with Zoo Negara. Lots of potential for "Cuti cuti Malaysia" with children.. We love it..

Suitable for kids . Have not so many animal. Have pool .. enjoy this moment at zoo..tq

It is a nice place to visit on the weekend. Less crowded but need a bit of upgrading.

Nice zoo. Some area are under maintenance, but for the price you paid, totally worth the visit. The zoo is quite big although the name is mini zoo. Just make sure you had a full stomach before going in. Limited food inside

It's a mini zoo.. the area are big for mini zoo. I think it's ok, more better for animal in cages. Kids? They look fun, but no train available that day.

Nice place for family time. It's a mini zoo , not so big but spent around 4 hour with family. Family friendly place even though car park is across main road. Luckly its not busy. Toilets is superb for a zoo.

Good place for kids to enjoy..plus the price also affordable to anyone .

I love this place. Have many animals. My kids loved it! Very clean and well kept. Staff also friendly. Ready for walk. Bring water bottle along.

It’s kinda okay i guess. I think they are still in the process of expanding the place. There’s a few cage that’s still empty.
