Wat Phothikyan Phutthaktham

On the tourism Malaysia signboard, this temple is known as Wat Dua Naga. Famed for the twin dragons that surrounded the temple compound. One of the dragons made to appear from a hole underground. The inscription also mentioned that the length of the dragons are 598 meters. In the afternoon you can enjoy the herbal steam bath and fried banana fitters. Standing tall is a whitewash Buddha known to be one of the tallest in Malaysia. You can also find huge dinosaurs and other beautiful attractive structures.

Unfortunately I went there on the rainy day so unable to visit most of the place. Looking forward for the next trip to there again. Wish to "mandi wap" as well. 😁

The design and architecture is pretty attractive, with a local guide you may know better about the local customs.

The scenery here is stunning , In addition travelers can try to experience natural herbal steam bath but notice that available only every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 7pm

Great temple nestle inside a small village.

One of the steam sauna that you would not want to miss. Its RM15 per pax now and definitely worth the money and the herbal smells good. Old aunty look after the sauna seem can't speak mandarin (i think she spoke hokkien). Open daily 2—6pm

There is a bit peculiar about this Wat. The monks are obviously from Thai Theravada Buddhism, but the temple is adorned with Mahayana Buddhism gods (Chinese gods) and decorations.
Maybe this makes the temple a bit special.
And don't miss the big wishing tree, you may buy the ribbon (throw it into the tree) from the counter inside the main temple building (the prayer hall).

Very calm and spiritual place. Please try the herbal sauna here. RM 15 an hour until 6pm. Worth the experience.
