Viking Scuba Tenggol

I had a pleasant experience with Viking Scuba! The dive guides are friendly and helpful. The service provided is amazing, your gear would be set up for you, and cleaned at the end of your trip for your collection as well. I used the rental gear, and they were in good condition. The boat we used is very spacious, clean, and well equipped with a toilet, a water dispenser, and a pantry with tea, coffee, and snacks. Towels also provided. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend everyone to dive with Viking Scuba! We did 12 dives with them in October over 4 days and it was such a great experience. Kamal, Mat Yie, Aiman and the crew are very professional and we really enjoyed our time diving there. The dive sites are generally nice with great visibility, and Brolok especially was so amazing. Lunch was always great as well. The only regret was not seeing whale shark despite sightings by the other boat but that’s how it goes with diving sometimes. If you are looking for a reliable and professional dive center, you will not regret going with Viking Scuba!

I did 2 days dive with Viking Scuba and I had a great time. The team is very friendly and professional. The boat is clean and big with free flow of snacks, water, cold soft drinks and keropok! The lunch provided is also tasty. I will definitely join them again on my next Tenggol dive.

Great fun dives experience with the Viking, there were 5 of us with mixed level of experience, the divemasters took good care of us and making sure everyone's safe throughout the dives!

They serve lovely meals (for lunch) and snacks on the boat, they checked and packed our equipment meticulously, very well-maintained rental gears, they don't have dive boots so you'll have to bring yours if you need one. We had great visibility underwater during our dives too, highly recommend this place!

Been diving with Viking for 1 year. Very responsible dive center with very nice and friendly dive guides and instructors. They really take care of our gears and belongings, plus they provide very nice food with biscuits and tea /coffee. There’s unlimited supply of cold soft drinks, plus the water dispenser has normal temp and hot water. There’s also a simple toilet where u can rinse urself after each dive. Will always go back to them to dive in tenggol. On the last day of dive, they will wash your equipments and you may collect it before departing back.

Kudos to my favorite dive guides, Aiman and Hafiez, they are really awesome!

Very friendly and professional dive instructors. Did a 2 days fun dive with them and the hospitality and service is just the best! The lunch on the boat is decent and free flow of 100plus, chrysanthemum, banana, water, biscuits etc.

The rental gears are all Scubapro and very very well maintained. A very fun experience overall and will dive with them again!

Everything was excellent, right from the start to the end, from by the pier until the dive trip ended. The staff were also great and really accommodating.

One of the scuba operators in dungun to pulau tenggol... Their boat is big, clean and has bathroom on boat... Their service is good and they change your tanks and help to wash your gear during the end of day

Did my OWD with Viking and had the best experience. Good communication before arriving to Dungun, important info shared promptly, and they have an efficient operation already set up, with safety in mind as well (max 12 per boat, 1 dive master to 4 pax). Enjoyed it so much I booked my Advanced there itself.

I did 2 days dive with Viking Scuba and I had a great time with them. The dive guides are friendly and provide great service. They will set up your gear for you, switch your gas tank after every dive and clean your gear at the end of dive trip. All the equipment they provided is new and keep in good condition. The dive guides will lead you to look for those creatures if you let them know which kind of creatures you are interested with.

Hafiez (ig @ hafiez301) is an excellent instructor... very knowledgeable, passionate, resilient, agile and friendly which makes for great dive trips.

Hafiez answered all of my questions (from the sensible to the ridiculous) with a smile. He was also delighted to spend time discussing dive techniques in more detail during the surface intervals.

I love this place for many reasons. We used them during the fasting month. But in no way did this ever stopped them from giving us their best service. Everyday, they were early to arrive and open up shop. All our gear were packed and ready to ship out as soon as we arrived for the dive.
The office is small comprising of 3 shipping containers but we didn’t lack anything and we only spent a short while at the office anyway.
Their dive boat, the Lady Fatima is a spacious vessel by your average recreational diver standards AND it has a spotless clean toilet on board! Impressive. The entire boat is kept meticulously tidy and clean. Every item has their own place and the deck is always clear of clutter.
The Dive Instructors and Dive Masters are very committed but always with a sense of humour to lighten up the dive experience.
Breakfast and lunch is included in the package and are on board during the trip. It’s good food, considering the circumstances. Breakfast is a nice meal of nasi lemak with large anchovies and a whole egg or mee hoon with chicken cubes and a whole egg. Lunch is usually mixed rice, Malay style with vege, rendang beef and curry chicken. All a bit spicy so take note.
There’s always bananas on board for us to munch on and to help with muscle recovery. There’s a water dispenser on board with hot and cold water, enough to hydrate a whole boat of divers. They have an ice box with soft drinks too.
My only complaint is the transfer to the jetty. We sat at the back of the pickup truck. Its structure is a little rusty and there are wingnuts/bolts jutting out near the cab area (at the front of the truck bed). These protrusions at left and right makes for an uncomfortable ride if the truck bed is packed with passengers. I hope the owner will fix this and then Viking will be just perfect!
Tenggol is a fantastic dive site with dense coral and abundant marine life. Pair that with Viking Scuba and you’ll have a fantastic time diving in the East Coast.

Most of my dives were done in Tenggol Island and the primary reason for that is Viking Scuba. The crew, comfort of the boat, safety, equipment quality and even the food on board are top notch and second to none. The crew are made up of experienced DMs that not only looks after you on board but also underwater. They make the entire diving experience memorable (without compromising safety) and it’s definitely the reason why so many of us are repeat customers! Look no further if you’re in need of a world class diving experience.

Had a great time getting my PADI open water certification with the team. Well run and organized. Clean shop and good equipment. Boats are nicer than most other companies appear to have. Would dove with them again.
