This restaurant is often fully booked during weekends, which speaks volumes about its popularity. It’s advisable to call ahead and make a reservation before visiting. This establishment is a personal favorite of mine in Mersing, and it’s a must-visit whenever I’m in town.

One of the reasons I keep coming back is their bitter gourd pork rib. It’s a standout dish, offering a perfect balance of flavors that tantalizes the taste buds. Another highlight is the sweet and sour pork, which features a delectable blend of tangy and sweet flavors that never fails to impress. Additionally, their stew chicken is a must-try, with its tender meat and rich, flavorful sauce, it’s a delight in every bite.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Mersing. Its combination of delicious dishes, makes it an unforgettable dining experience.

So satisfying meal. Highly recommend on all their specialties dishes. We ordered sweet and sour pork, Kang Kung Belacan, Sotong, Bitter gourd with pork, steak fish (super fresh). Price value for the food quality, service and will surely come back here.

Fish was absolutely fresh, chicken was soft and tasted world class and the sweet sour pork was just delicious, though there were more batter vs pork. A must visit place in Mersing. The lady spoke good English as well. Their signboard isn’t very clear. It’s a light beige pink building.

This place is much more than just a restaurant--it's a social institution. It's not one of those places that expect you to eat, pay and leave. Instead, the layout and hospitality encourages you to stay and socialise with family and friends at the dinner table. Moreover, the food is spectacular, especially the seafood. The coral trout/red grouper was literally the freshest fish I've eaten, with tender, flakey chunks of meat. Reasonable prices too--we paid less than MYR100 for fish, sotong, tofu, veg and tea. Just be sure to book a table in advance!

Amazing food. Very homey cooking style. My table of 6 people couldn't stop ordering. From the sweet and sour pork, steam fish, black sauce sotong, pork rib with bitter gourd, prawn and kang kong. Thank you Margaret for the recommendation.

Awesome and delicious Cantonese cuisine. We really like the sweet and sour pork, steamed fish, and cha siu. Highly recommended to call and reserve a table. They are closed sometimes and usually fully booked.

Other dishes are very yummy as well and at very affordable prices. I would also recommend the fried rice, char siu, steamed fish and the steamed chicken.

Strongly advise calling in advance to book as we saw walk-ins turned away as all tables were taken up by reservations. We were also told to call 2 days before to order our food. There wasn’t a menu available online, so were told to look at the reviews online to help with selection of dishes and Margaret was also great in providing recommendations. She also adjusted the portion sizes when told her the size of our party (how many adults and children, including age).

Good food v affordable price. We had sweet n sour pork, steamed prawns, stirfry kangkung no chili, and fried rice. All tasted good. The environment is clean too.

Wonderful place to dine at Mersing. Luckily, we made reservations before arriving. Dishes we enjoyed - bittergourd pork ribs, sweet and pour pork, steamed chicken and char siew. Price is reasonable, wait time can be a little long with the crowd, but all good stuffs take time.

My must go place when I visit Tioman for diving, due to its limited seat call to booking is a must. The restaurant run by a canton family this they serve great canton food. Steam grouper and gou lou yuk is a must order recipe. The food come with a reasonable price, n the freshest n taste is the main reason I keep coming back.
