Sri Mersing Cafe

Rode over to Mersing for breakfast. Coffee is rich in taste and their Kaya is not too sweet. Variety of snacks available too. Shop gates opens at 9am. Must reach early, otherwise finding a parking space is difficult.

I ordered two egg tarts, and the taste was a bit sweet for me, but the egg tart’s pastry was crispy and soft at the same time. Then, the roti bakar was so good with a nice crispy outer and cham o hot. I didn’t know this shop had been open for 51 years.

My first time here and I love the original vintage interior of the cafe. Very nice nasi lemak bungkus, roti bakar and yummy coffee. Its a place where locals from difference race come to have their breakfast. Just be a bit patient since only two person handling everything.

Sri Mersing Café serves one of the best egg tarts in Malaysia! The crust is baked to perfection and the filling tastes just nice, not too sweet. It went well with a cup of ice cold iced milk tea or local coffee. Other bakes on sale are buns and cakes e.g. butter cake and fruit cake. If you fancy half boiled eggs and toast, they serve those too.

Fun fact: The Sultan of Johor has visited Sri Mersing Café before.

Still maintaining the old fashioned kopitiam. One place that I will definitely return if I am in Mersing. Still bake their own pastry. The toast is perfect.

Their banana cake and curry puff are just the best! Mersing Cafe serves authentic pastries for a very good price. At this time of the year, they also sell Moon cakes. I just love to go there!

very authentic cafe, they even rinse the cup with hot water before serve you a cup of tea/coffee. A wonderful breakfast with nice butter toast with omega soft boiled egg, small pack of nasi lemak with pandan fragrance...yummy yummy

Lovely little family owned cafe with authentic breakfast and lunch. We came here daily, and saw a lot of locals eating and even started the recognize the regulars. Highly recommended, I would absolutely come back myself!!

Good coffee, good nasi lemak (packet), good toast. Good price. They also have cakes and pies, but looked dry so we didn't try.
