Basic hotel with quiet and clean room. The place has a 1970s/1980s vibe. Most people come here by car and there's ample parking. Lots of eating options within 5 minute drive.

Beautifully clean and quiet.
Air con great. Bed great.
Tea coffee water. If you want frills look elsewhere.
Staff lovely and friendly.
Shuttle bus driver picked me up from the ferry then drove me into town to find supper. Never too much trouble .
All the basics you need for a short stay. Highly recommend. But don't expect a resort.

With rm70 per room (less than 20USD) I wouldnt complaint much.

The hotel may look oldschool and surrounded by lush greeneries but my stay here was quite a pleasant one.

Clean room, new aircond, water heater and TV. Had a good night sleep too as it was quiet and peaceful at night. Will definitely come again here next time.

We had a very pleasant stay here. We booked the wrong date and after we arranged with Agoda the owner was very nice to accept the new date as the old one. No extra costs. Thank you so much. Breakfast is very good. We recommend if you go to tioman island. Nice swimming pool

Very relaxing and friendly staff , it's an old building refurbished . I like it so much because i feel refreshing after spending a night there ( quiet , clean , fresh air ) . Moreover , a stunning mersing beach is just opposite of MERSING MERLIN INN around 200 metres . I have a beautiful beach view from my balcony... Will sure go for a second trip

Cosy, lovely place
Merlin Inn is not the newest place around, but the landscaping is wonderfully maintained. You'll be surrounded by lush greenery and there is a very private resort-like atmosphere that is lacking in many modern hotels. The breakfast is a set meal, not a buffet spread. There is also a pool available, but I'm not sure there is a life guard around, so children will always have to be monitored. It gets up to 6feet deep. The room was cosy and had a balcony that overlooks a very very distant view of the sea (not exactly the ocean view as advertised) I would definitely recommend this for families. I booked it on airasiago for a cheaper rate.

i workin here as a waiter in 1985-1987..this is a golden for Our Merlin Inn..the royal , VIP and may people around the world come here..it really a beautiful moment for me as a staff in Merlin Inn Mersing...

recommended ..very quietly environment,peacefully,swimming pool so clean,staff friendly,free breakfast,tasty and delicious..2 star hotel but everything is quiet ok..clean,aircond works well,tv channel ok,i will come stay again.

clean room, located close to town, air-conditioning and water heater is great as well.

Clean and Comfortable. This is the most luxury hotel in Mersing went my dad was 7 yrs old .
