Had the most wonderful experience here. We were attended by Uncle Tan's lovely father. A simple, friendly, and generous man. Love the bees and how the family takes care of them. Amazing to see how their colony work. The honey were divine. Brought home 2 bottles. We were very grateful he shared the fruits of his land. I will definitely come back for a chat and more honey!!!

Very educational, Uncle Tan is the stingless bee man! The construction of the hives were all unique, different sizes, colours, things used to build & of course different flavours of all the honey. An interesting experience for the whole family.

Uncle Tan is actually an energetic young man with lots of passion for sharing about stingless bees, air plants and the fruit orchard.

He happily spent time showing us his rustic farm and offered us fruit in season e.g. pomelo and banana. "if the ciku is ripe, you can just pluck and eat," he told us.

during the rm5 farm tour, he showed us the different species of stingless bees, happily removing the roof of the apiary. We listened to the buzzing bees. We sniffed the honey inside. And he even provided us spoons to taste the honey from the propolis (the stingless bee's equivalent of fhe honeycomb).

our room was basic, simple, and comfortable. towels were provided. but not soap or shampoo.

we appreciated the yellow and bee signs that provided clear directions to supplement waze.

you can actually walk to the seafront which offers the possibility of a good sunset. you can also visit the Bugis Museum for free.

Recommended for people who want something different from the blah blah hotel stay!

Tan is very passionate about what he does, and he does it well! The children enjoyed so much playing with the stingless bees, the fish, lobsters, earthworms, and the dogs. I also enjoyed looking at and picking up fruits from their fruit trees. Don’t forget to book the tour in advance. The only annoying animal in the farm was the mosquito so make sure you have some repellent with you.

We booked 2 nights of the hostel and stayed on the farm. Tan’s dad, a 75- year old friendly uncle provided various seasonal fruits , fresh from the farm. Yummy!! We didn’t have a car, so Tan kindly offered to take us around to great local restaurants. We really appreciate his hospitality! Hope your other rooms will be available and we will surely visit again! Of course it’s more convenient to come in your own car.

Really nice experience!

Driving into the farm was easy. Parking could be a little limited but I think, the owner will try his best to find a spot for you.

We came during the New Year and it was surprisingly open.

Uncle Tan is friendly and explains about the stingless bees with passion. His knowledge of the bees was good. It was interesting to come up close and personal with the bees. They really do not sting, be rest assured.

Spoons are provided for you to taste the honey directly from the honeycomb itself. He opened the roof of the bees' house to let us have a look inside.

The tour of the bees itself was a little short and I wished it was a little longer. Having said that, the trip to the farm was enjoyable.

There are some souvenirs that you can consider getting for yourself.

Uncle Tan is honest as well as he returned some of our money which was counted wrongly. Truly a person of integrity.

This is a place where you can consider bringing your young children too to learn more about 🐝.

Got to learn about “stingless bees”, the distinctively mix of sweet & sour honey that they produce from plant resins & how that taste varies depending on the flowers & plants they harvest from.

Sampled them honey & must say the distinct sourness has a nice punch! 👍🏻!

Interesting that the bees look little like the yellow & black striped images in our head, & how they use the resins to build pods to contain their honey, as well as the medicinal value of those pods.

A good educational experience for young & old alike, thanks Jacky for the hospitality!

The place was quite a distance from the main road leading in by a small dirt track with plantation by the sides. Owner was not around when our family visited the farm. We are greeted by the excited dogs and friendly helper who brought our family around and show us the bees. It was quite a small area and there was even a small hostel to house tourists. We are impressed by the Solar Powered Aero-Aquaponics System which is the future type of green farming technology. We wrapped up the trip in 20 minutes time and it was a good educational tour for the kids. By the way - Don't forget to apply insect sprays for you city folks out there !

This is a hidden gem in kukup, close to Tuas. It was raining and we weee not sure if the farm will remain open. I made a WhatsApp call and was reassured that it would remain open til we reach. While waiting for the umbrella to be set up over the bee hives, we manage to enjoy a durian tasting session- we tried the various types F101, Golden Phoenix and the kampung durians. We were amazed by the quality at very reasonable prices. The guide gave us a very enlightening tour of the hives- our kids were fascinated with the stingless bees. Apparently they will also give a tour of their fruit orchard - we will try it next time. There are other interesting side-shows like the mantis shrimps in their drains and their air grown plants that we bought. It was a small farm but we enjoyed the 1.5h there despite the rain. We will bring the kids in dec for the next durian season.

Visited the farm since was in Pontian. Small little (bee farm situated in a large fruit farm) interesting place to learn about the various stingless bee in Malaysia (iirc around 40).
First time you can play with the bees (they don't sting - stingless, but they do bite, although not painful more like tiny ant bite). There are 5 active bee type at the farm and each have interesting fact about them.
Entrance fee is 5RM/person but you get to sample some of the honey there - 4 types plus the 1 or 2 actual ones directly from the hive.
End of the day can purchase various merchandise - honey, soap, balm. Oh, they also sell tropical fruits (in season) and air plants.
Overall, cute little place for a visit to learn about Stingless Bee.
