Happened to be in the vicinity, lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, wet and dry markets at very reasonable prices. Bought Cempedak for RM18, dokong for RM10, mango tree RM15. Really missed the friendly atmosphere with the vendors.

I am a frequent customer of this pasar. My house is about 6 km from this place, the nearest wet market for me is Pasar Yan which is about 1.2 km away. I prefer Pasar Sungai Yan because there are so many outlets selling freshly caught fish and other sea products. This best time to visit this Pasar should at about 9:30 am and 4:30 pm. The morning session one can buy fish/others landed in early morning. The 4:30 pm session sells fish,/others freshly caught by local fishermen just outside Yan. If you want any special fish, etc you can always anyone of the fish mongers there to look for you. Once I wanted freshly caught ikan terubuk @ 1.5+ kg, I placed my request and a few months later I got a call from a fish monger asking me to collect my big terubuk in the morning. You can order ayam kampung and itik as well. A great place.

Mesmerising place with crowded people buying groceries and the food stall was amazing. Really good food with cheap prices. Got stall sale nasi lemak royal which the rice is yellow coloured. Really tasty.

you can find whatever you need to cook for homemeal cooking, more merrier in the evening, stalls open around 4pm up to 7pm
