Nama asal sekolah ini ialah Sekolah Melayu Temelok. Nama ini digunakan hingga perlaksanaan Penyata Razak pada tahun 1955. apabila perlaksanaan Penyata Razak 1955 dimulakan pada tahun 1956,sekolah ini ditukarkan kepada Sekolah Umum Temelok. Pada tahun 1961,sekolah ini bertukar kepada Sekolah Kebangsaan Temelok dan kekal sehingga sekarang. Penduduk melayu di Temelok ini ingin menukarkan nama kepada Sekolah Datuk Sagap,Temelok sempena nama orang yang mula-mula menubuhkan sekolah ini tetapi ditolak oleh Jabatan Pelajaran Perak ketika itu. Kesemua bangunan masih digunakan hingga sekarang setelah dibaikpulih.

This is my loveable school that I studied at 1984 till 1989.
I really Mis Hun, Cikgu Faridah, and there 2 Christians lady teacher and a Ustaz but I really forgot their name. Because of that ustaz I Always attend Agama kelas to hear his wonderful story

About Terong
Village in Malaysia

Terong is a mukim in Larut, Matang and Selama District, Perak, Malaysia. It is famous for the quality of its water and the presence of a waterfall. Tin was also mined there until 1980. It had Malay, Chinese and Tamil primary schools but the numbers have dwindled considerably. The village is surrounded by plantations of rubber and palm oil trees.
