Driving from the main road after the Iskandar bridge, the signboard greeted us with a turning into a small lane.
An amazing Cenotaph and resting place of the famed Ancient Female Warrior, Leader & Mystic... Tok Temong.
She presented to the 1st ruler of Perak, Sultan Mudzaffar, an installation gift for his majesty's crowning in 1528.
Until today, the mysterious orb "Geliga Embun" is still in the Perak Royal Regalia, being brought out traditionally for each Sultan's installation rites.
The gate was locked, but it will be opened by a custodian who magically appears from nowhere when you respectfully whisper the official name of Tok Temong.
A very clean & serene place for a 472 year old grave of a female leader of Hulu Perak.
Highly recommended to visit for those who are interested in the history of Perak.
