Hotel Cocoloco

What an amazing and beautiful place. The resort is kept in a very natural and beautiful style, with several small buildings. The owners, including their both dogs are so heartily and friendly, that you feel like home.

The "private beach" is of course not like in Cancun completely white, but clean and beautiful to go swimming in the sea. I really enjoyed it, staying there on sunsets and daytime.

I would recommend this place for couples and families, it is NOT made for party-people.

I will definately come back in the future! :)

Great place in front of the beach. It's enclosed between two constructions that get to the beach so it's like having 200 meters or more of private beach for the place. The owner, Martin, is super friendly and accessible. If you talk to him he'll give you tips and pointers to make your trip even better (like a local tour guide to visit the ciénegas park), and the place is pet friendly too. The food at the restaurant is excellent, so we did not have to go out at any time, except to a convenience store for other things (which is about 5 minutes from the hotel by foot). I recommend this hotel greatly and would come back without a doubt. Remember to talk to Martin and he'll see to it that you have the best time!

Nice, laid-back place to stay on the Costa Esmeralda. The owner, Martin, is extremely friendly and helpful and offers suggestions about things to do in the area. The food from the restaurant is tasty, and the stretch of beach is quite lovely. We stayed in an apartment with two bedrooms and were very comfortable. We only stayed two nights, but it would be a great option for a longer stay.

Cash only. Modest rooms for a good price. Wi-Fi is only available for some of the rooms but who's really going to use it when you're so close to the beach. Building's are beautiful. The guy that runs the place is super nice and speaks english, spanish, german, and Dutch. Hammocks and chairs at the beach. Also has a pool. They serve food to but I didn't try it.

Good pizza, good cofee, nicest host ever. They are selling outstanding woodwork. Really good suggestions for local programs. Worth to stop by.

The service from the owner (Martín) it's a solid 10/10

El lugar es muy bonito y está a unos pasos del mar. Tiene una zona con mesas, sillas y una hamaca para poder contemplar el mar.
Sobre las habitaciones, son cómodas, tiene agua caliente, hay ventilador y mosquiteros en las ventanas.
Respecto al servicio, acudí en temporada baja, entonces no se veía movimiento y tardaron un poco en aparecer para recibirnos.
Anteriormente tenía servicio de café y una tipo cocina, pero ya no está en funcionamiento. El precio es accesible y también se puede acampar en este sitio.

Excelente lugar para pasar unos días, acceso directo a la playa, desayuno y servicio de comida.
Muy buena atención por parte del anfitrión, amabilidad y buena plática!
Lo mejor, la liberación de tortugas marinas, una experiencia inigualable!
Si vas en la temporada adecuada podrás presenciar el desove y el rescate de los huevos de la tortuga marina.

Una experiencia increíble, la atención del anfitrión muy amable y atento en todo momento. Hotel amigable con mascotas. Seguro volveremos a regresar

Me encantó es pequeño pero con lo necesario para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza, excelente ubicación, playa bonita y muy buena atención de su anfitrión Martin. Muy recomendable podrás disfrutar de ver tortugas que las cuidan y hacen llegar al mar. Muy bonita experienca

Super bien playa privada

El lugar es hermoso, hay alberquitas y un área común con palapas camastros y hamacas
Lo único malo es q el aire acondicionado de la habitación donde estuve se descompuso y no pude dormir de lo insoportable q estuvo el calor
Pero fuera de eso, todo estuvo súper bien
Sin duda volvería y recomiendo el lugar

El lugar está muy bien por el precio y menos deja quedar con perros solo les falta tener restaurante

Martín es un excelente anfitrión, muy culto, siempre platicando cosas divertidas e interesantes. Es un lugar hermoso, con un jardín que se disfruta mucho.

La tienda de artesanías es muy bella y tiene curiosidades creativas.

Afortunadamente no utilizan envases desechables como en la mayoría de lugares. Muy recomendable.

Es un hotel rústico, sencillo, sin más pretensiones que ofrecer un rincón aislado para relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. En la vodta Esmeralda, lejos de centros urbanos del ruido, del tráfico, con un buen restaurante, un servicio atento y cordial y la playa a 20 metros de las habitaciones. Muy recomendable.

Excelente lugar para hospedarse, su letrero casi no se ve y no está muy a la vista pero en general todo se encuentra en excelentes condiciones y cuentan con chapoteadero para que los niños puedan nadar tranquilos

Excelente lugar frente al mar para descansar, el servicio excelente, la comida deliciosa y es Pet friendly 🫶
