This is the best place to have breakfast in the Historic Center of Mexico City. The staff is very competent, the food is great and the venue is cozy. Local clientele is on the upscale side and there are always tourists. Portions are very generous and service is impeccable.

They have a ritual for coffee and milk. No spoilers. Just order coffee with milk.

They have semi-outdoor and indoor service. I prefer the latter as the street can be quite noisy.

Nice place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very popular. Staff were great and food was good. Were stopped there a couple of times during our visit.

We randomly landed here! And the server was amazing, he helped us pick vegetarian options and translated for us in English! Their orange cake was next level!!

If you are in the Zocalo area, stop in for a great breakfast. They even had live Veracruz style music.

We ate breakfast here two days during our trip to CDMX. Both times the service and food was outstanding! The eggs w black beans and montuleños were great, try the Bomba (bread) fruit plates were generous, and get a fancy drink!

OMG, the best restaurant in CDMX. I randomly walked in, and there was live singing plus instruments (Sorry, I don't know what it was) playing. Both the waiters were accommodating. The menu was provided in English, and Someone came to ask about our order in English too. But, don't forget this is a restaurant, the food I ordered, was the best tasting food in this city for me. Check out the delicious Rio de pollo (Chicken dish with avocados, tortillas as side, veggies), they were amazing. They use fresh ingredients (not the frozen chicken) and may be the best chicken in CDMX.

All the appeal of a port city … and some of the charm.

This is a must go! If you are coming to Downtown in Mexico City, traditional dishes and a typical Mexican hacienda place, it has musicians most of the time. Very recomendable.

This place has some very good food and really nice staff, they had no problem explaining somethings to me when I forgot some words in Spanish so I guarantee you’ll have no problem if you speak none! And it’s my mothers favorite place to eat at and she says it even reminds her of the original one so that’s always a plus!

Loved my experience here. My waiter was great, oatmeal was good and the dancers made it even a better breakfast experience.

I had breakfast here and I was really happy with everything, the food, the live music, the service was outstanding. Really recommend this place to everyone. I'm a vegetarian and they can customize anything to your preference and it was still delicious.

I've been there two days in a row. The people working there are extremely kind. The food is delicious. Hardly can wait to get there as soon as possible again.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! Friendly servers, delish food, ice cold cervezas (!), and a very talented singer! I'll be back many times before I leave MX City! Btw, we had chic cordon blue, turkey enchiladas, and tortilla soup. (
