Went with family and climbing shoes. The approach is fine in a regular car if you take it super slow. The place is amazing, and climbing over the water in a cave is a memorable experience! The rock is good quality and has had enough traffic to clean it from most of the dust and cobwebs. Bugs weren’t too bad, which is good as you shouldn't be using repellent. Remember to leave the chalk behind! (all of the routes start straight out of the water anyway).

It’s the first cenote we visited and definitely worth the detour. After about 15 mins on the rocky and uneven terrain, you pay the entrance fee in cash and go down some steep stairs to the cenote. There’s only a small platform to stand on but you’ll be tempted to stay in the refreshing water.

Amazing cenote!! Extremely painful process getting there due to the dirt road but totally worth it. 70 pesos was the entrance fee and the stairs were extremely rickety, but the water was extremely clear and overall it was amazing.

Mostly closed cenote with some wooden stairs to go down to a small platform. Very beautiful blue water. It wasn’t very crowded and there were some divers, but very peaceful. There is a nice little cave to the right where you can stand on to look at the cenote from the inside and from a different angle.

What an incredible cenote. A guy rents vests outside but he didnt have enough for my group. I recommend bringing your own. Absolutely loved spending a couple of hours here.

Beautiful cenote! To get here from Merida, take a bus to Telchaquillo from the Noreste bus station. Once in Telchaquillo, it is a 5km walk to Pixya. Along the way, someone on a motorcycle picked us up and took us to the town. In Pixya follow Google Maps directions, it's a short walk.

The cenote is 50 pesos per person. There are facilities to change but nowhere to leave your valuables so be careful. You'll have to walk down a very steep and narrow staircase but once you're down there it's beautiful! The pool is quite small though so it could get busy.

So, not hard to find, but be ready that there is bad cell phone reception, or no reception at all, so as you enter in the village Pixya, look for any kid, who can bring you right to cenote, for a small gratitude. The road up to cenote is bad- there is no road, basically it is a very narrow path-2 cars can not pass it-with stones, holes, and jungles on the sides. Entrance fee $50 pesos, time unlimited, long wooden stairs to go down, not crowdy, very deep (the lowest depth 14m), clear blue water.
Also can be camping place for $100 peso fee

Nice cool deep blue water, can jump from the top or side and they even had a rope to swing on. Worth stopping by after Mayapań. Only one other group came when we were there so 12 people total. Really enjoyed it.

A beautiful Cenote. Fairly large opening brings in a beam of light that shines through crystal clear water. The temperature of the water is warm and the cave is beautiful.

By coming here you are also supporting the locals who live in the community close by.

Nice climbing , nice village. You can do camp Next of the Cenote and you can do any action in there jump 10 m around , climbing, diving . Villagers are so friendly too . All the village kids are running after you and if they bring you in cenote they get small tip. Cenote 40 pesos for person and worth it .

We loved this cenote! Only minus was that some steps weren't too stable and required maintenance.

This is a lovely little cenote which is quite small but has a cool cave area to rest in on the side. There was a scuba group there while we snorkeled which was cool since it made it easier to see the stuff below from them using their lights. It is a newer cenote so not as open.

Magical in the beginning of the afternoon where the light enters and plays with the blue water and your senses.
