The place is really central, trustworthy and cheap. I asked my mexican friends which contracts they have and they had the ones offered at the store. E.g. I paid 200pesos for 3Gb + unlimited calls & messaging.

The gentlemen at window 3 gave this gringo the best service at a cell phone store that I've ever had. Amazing experience all around. No matter where you stay in the city I suggest tracking out to this location for help.

A hotel worker recommended this phone store on the 2nd day of our Mexico City vacation . She said it's a legit corporate store. We didn't want to go to a Mom & Pop place and worry about me getting rear-ended.
The employees were professional and didn't try upselling. No hidden agenda. We bought sim cards and 1.3 GB data plans for the 1 week we are here. We paid about $7 USD total per phone. Oddly, the transaction consisted of two seperate charges: one for the plans and one for the sims. I think our plans provide everything a regular phone plan offers. I think she said we can call the USA.
Tip: download the city map onto your phone via google maps before you leave home. You can use this map with your phone's gps until you buy your sims and phone service here.
We wished we had done this because we experienced a black swan event getting from the airport to hotel in this mega-loposis of a city. Luckily, her iphone was able to gps connect and help us.

After trip update: The 1.3 GB data plans were barely enough for her and kinda plenty for me. On our next trip I'll probably get at least 2 GB per week, per person. If you buy a plan that doesn't offer enough data and you are running low, you can buy more data. I believe you can buy the extra data at convenience stores, as well as any Telcel store.
We kept an eye on our data banks by using the regular phone app on our phones:
Dial *133# and send it. On the next screen type-in option 1 and send it. On the next screen Type-
in option 5 and send it. Your remaining data will popup in a seperate box. Ask the employee
about this feature before you leave the store because there's nothing intuitive about this process.

The staff were pleasant, helpful and communicative.
The place was organized and well-arranged.
Would definitely recommend it, for buying a cellphone sim and/or service plan.

Muy buenas me dirijo ante todo al gerente de las oficinas Telcel .cómo usuario que he sido de esta empresa desde mi llegada al país .. el día de hoy domingo 25 de febrero de 2024 .. me presenté con muy buen semblante y buena onda . A proseguir .. mi recuperación de línea ..por robo de mis documentos personales y teléfono. no obstante presente todo los papeles 📋 que la operadora y la señorita. El día anterior me informaron .. para proceder el día de hoy con mi recuperación de línea .. y mi s papeles en regla .por la comar y identificación.. no obstante in my opinión personal .fui víctima de trato de racismo por mi doble nacionalidad colombo-venezolana .. por dos personas de atención al cliente un señor de unos 65 años unos 98 kilos y 178 de estatura.. posteriormente me vi afectado por (discriminación racial y de género ) por (mi sexualidad y raza) y con un {daño psicológico irreversible😭}por este señor y otra empleada de unos 65 años de edad ,169 de altura y peso de unos 57 kilos .... Perjudicando mi .recuperación de línea y mi persona delante todo el público presente y oficiales policiales .. y dichas cámaras de seguridad... Es una denuncia formal ... Que yo decidiré formar en los próximos días.. y un llamado a los inmigrantes tanto de mi nacionalidad y centro americanos .. como de todas las que pasan por el país de México.. y in my opinión lo que yo represento la comunidad lgtb 🌈 y a todos lo que piensan igual que .. yo que no debemos ser más tratados .. de este modo ni por la empresa Telcel ni nigún otro citio .. basta ya con la discriminación 🌈 vivimos una nueva era con mentalidad abierta vivan nuestros derechos .. e igualdad amen 🙏 atentamente siguieron al gerente del esta sucursal de Telcel .. tomar acciones con este tipo de empleados inescrupulosos. con mala intención de herir los sentimientos de las personas como yo🥺.. y tratar de machar su reputación ante todo el público... Gracias
