EX CONVENTO CUILAPAM DE GUERRERO

Magnificent! This place is hauntingly beautiful. It’s such a calm and quiet place and ideal for reflection. A photographers dream in almost any light. It’s like $75 pesos per person and well worth it to see the interior. Bathrooms upstairs.

The last place for Vicente to take his last breath, The location is beautiful and full of past memories, you can still see some rooms have only been cleared, but have some old pottery, paintings, carvings, even the old smoke of the kitchen that existed at a time is still there. You get to see the jail cell where Vicente Was taken, to where later he was executed.

Gorgeous open cathedral in stunning location. Absolutely worth the trip out from Oaxaca and don’t forget to check out the archaeological site of Zaachila nearby.

It is amazing, just the architecture is beautiful and the fact that in that ex convento they shoot the second Mexican president and a few archaeological pieces do more interesting and rich the visit, it is very easy to arrive and come back in public transportation from Oaxaca city!

A window to the blending of two great cultures :Zapotec and Spanish , the mixture of believes and way of life. It's a highly recommended visit when in Oaxaca.

Beautiful outdoor church from the conquista time. This outdoor church was used to convert natives into Catholicism. Also, in this place was killed Vicente Guerrero (2nd president of Mexico).

It was by coincidence that I went to this place, but it was such a great discovery!

If you are around here, you need to come visit the Exconvento. An amazing almost magical place, especially in early spring when the jacarandas are blooming.

If you view from the outside, it's free...otherwise, you have to pay. fee to go inside. The outside ruins are beautiful.

Nice historic site with beautiful views from the church's rooftop. Worth the visit if you're passing by

Couldn’t really get the chance to go in however it is a place that has no roof so you can see almost everything you need to from the outside. Has an amazing story behind it, I would recommend checking it out

Beautiful architecture. Once inside, you'll notice how the stair cases made of cement are worn down and wonder about how many others have walked those steps before. Pay the extra pesos to get inside, you will see old worn down murals, and access some strange pathways inside.

Some great pics can be made here and there's a lot of story behind this place!

It was nice. Would have love to go inside, but we were told that due to covid it was closed.
