Jardín Hidalgo

A nice historical place in coyoacan where you can walk and eat a lot of delicious Mexican food in all the restaurants that are around this park.
Very recommended, if you visit Mexico city, you need to stop here and spend an evening.
I'm attaching some pictures of some little restaurants that are in the surroundings of this pat that are very good option to taste some food.

Great area to spend a day, very beautiful, plenty of shops and restaurants right off the edge of the plaza. Great views and just an all around fun place with a great vibe. Always safe and well policed.
I have visited this plaza numerous times over the years (and the pictures are from all different trips) This year I was here for "El Grito" in celebration of 16th de septiembre (Mexican Independence day) and had a great time- lots of food, great historical importance, and an awesome firework display. There were roughly 10k people but still very safe and calm a great family atmosphere.

the square is pretty, lots of artists and street performers. its a trendy neighborhood and in general safe ... but always remain vigilant as usual

It is the main square plaza in the city. Nice place to visit. Unfortunately, some areas are dispossed for street vendors and kiosks, losing some attractive to enjoy the area.

Hidalgo Coyoacan Graden/square is exceptionally memorable experience. There are so many activities, even a whole day is not enough. Local artists exhibits their art, paintings, sculptures and much more at a reasonable price. There are dozens of local cuisine places to enjoy with family and friends. Youngsters enjoy skates, while being respectful to folks who are just leisurely strolling or sitting on side benches. Sunny weather is always a plus if you are taking break from low temperatures on the east coast of the USA. Enjoy authentic food, culture and friendly atmosphere here.

Beautiful park with a unique neighborhood feel. I felt as if I had left Mexico City on a day trip. The streets and houses surrounding the park are immaculate and picturesque.

Tons of food and souvenirs for everyone with different cultures. The church is an absolute must to walk into. The friendliest place in the territory.

This public park offers a wide variety of fast food options, restaurants, souvenir stores, and Mexican candies. It's a great place to take a leisurely stroll, admire the local architecture, and explore the museums.

There’s always something going on like Native American dances, Michael Jordan impersonators, all kinds of performers. There plenty of restaurants and vendors throughout. You’ll definitely enjoy a stroll in the garden.

Coyoacan is lively town in CDMX just 30 minutes from the city center. Frida kahlo museum is here also. Another gem to visit while in Mexico.

So alive, such a great plaza, for fun, dinning and historic sites, Frida and Diego lovers must visit, Coyoacán top destination!
