Great place for expats and Canadians. Why? Soft spot to land if you have just arrived. You can have a great american style steak on Tue. Make new friends or just hang out. Breakfast is delicious and the staff is friendly. This is not a fancy pants type of place and that works for me!! Viva Mexico!!

The number one place for expats in Chapala. Casual atmosphere and lots of friendly people. Wonderful staff. Great food with excellent prices, including lots of American choices, not just burgers but things like clubhouse sandwiches and biscuits and gravy. Breakfast served until noon. Lots of special events, we really enjoyed the New Year's Eve party and we are looking forward to lots more. You don't need to be a member to visit but anyone can join and I recommend it, there are many benefits and it helps support the community.

Fun place, friendly people, lots of activities, nice menu, pet friendly. Food service is slow, but with a smile.

Went there on a Sunday to watch football playoffs. Had two big screens and both had the game on. Ordered a burger and Chicken sandwich, nothing fancy, but both were very tasty. Margarita was good and fairly strong. The service was very good. They have food or drink specials daily which are a very good value. Lots of fun😎

We don’t visit that often but when we do it’s clean and well run. I appreciate some of the public events they offer like the Preparing to Die in Mexico (well attended). Good music on occasion. Friends rave about the breakfast and 🥓 bacon. Prices are good and so are the cold cervezas 🍺

I've haven't been to Chapala in three years. The waiter who I met over three years ago is still here. It's a Beautiful place. A great place to see other Americans. Great atmosphere.

I like the service and that the area is casual. Nice food but is a short menu. Good breakfasts and Sundays good hamburguers and hotdogs. Mondays karaoke and Margaritas.

Thanksgiving dinner at the Legion this afternoon was great. $500 pesos got dinner for Reggie and me. No need to clean up my kitchen and Reg has another meal tomorrow. The

Best place to go for English speaking people in Chapala. Locals and nationals are always welcome as well! Access to Wi-Fi a big asset!

Love going for the daily specials! Thursday is chicken cordon bleu with your choice of potato and a nice green salad. Very delicious and you can't beat the price. Top it off with a nice cold beer or two.

Attended meeting, had light snack, wonderful entertainment, and incredible friendly people.

Went there for a great breakfast. Returned for Mardi Gras and ate Gumbo. Gumbo was delicious and great margaritas. Had so much fun. The people and staff were fun. Felt more like family. Loved the live band. I have returned twice since then. I now have a home away from home.

My first time eating here was great! Our waiters were very courteous young men. My husband had the special of the day, Fillet Mignon. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. The steak was cooked to my husband's preference. My burger was delicious, not greasy at all. The bacon was done crispy just the way I like it. We will go back soon to try other items on their menu.

Good, honest food. Nothing fancy. Consistently, for different meals, the Legion does not disappoint. Fair prices. The folks you meet here are also a huge plus! Oh, and if you order a cocktail, it will contain the appropriate amount of alcohol. Enjoy!

Food is American, not Mexican, but quite good. Service is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. You feel part of the gang after a few visits. Garden is lovely, a cool and breezy blessing after noon.
