Top quality seafood, bottomless margaritas...

Boasting a fantastic location for enjoying the sunsets over Lake Chapala, Isla Cozumel is easily one of the best seafood restaurants in town.

The welcome is warm and exceedingly friendly, the atmosphere is "just so," and the margaritas come with free refills.

Food is frankly excellent and prices are fair, given the quality and setting of this restaurant, as well as the fact that the Ritas keep on coming.

Top marks... Highly recommended.

We've eaten there twice & it was so good. My wife has had their garlic salmon twice. Best she's ever had. I had breaded & fried frog legs last night. OMG, they were perfect in every way! Free margaritas or wine with meal.

I sure thought I had already written a review on Restaurant Isla Cozumel, our favorite restaurant Lakeside. We have been there many times and it’s not just for the free margaritas and wine with your entrée. The waiters are friendly and professional, the patio view of the lake and malecón are great (there is a nice indoor seating area too) and the food is consistently good! Salmon, shrimp, whole red snapper, mummy shrimp, stuffed filet etc. The prices are good 👍 and did I mention delicious free margaritas with each entrée. This is our fun “go to” seafood restaurant. Highly recommend! Enjoy!

Great food and drinks. Good place to also people watch!

Located at the end of the Malecon, with great lake and people views. I had the breaded camarones with rice and salad. The shrimp were large, butterflied and delicious. My wife had the Coconut shrimp with tamarind sauce. Again very good. The free margaritas were very potent, yet well made😎

What great attentive service by waiter Geraldo...gentle and professional delivering a perfect Red Snapper dish...hot and tasty. The restaurant, with many nice tables outside was in a perfect location to see the sun set over Lake Chapala. To top it off a small group of 5 mariachi played music and sang songs that created a very uplifting atmosphere! Will go visit again during my stay! Marguerita was perfect!

We had the coconut shrimp and shrimp marguerite. Both were served with Blanche root vegetables, bake potatoes or rice. The beer was served with iced glass mugs. The service was great and the food delicious.

This continues to be our favorite restaurant Lakeside bar none...the food quality is just so darn consistent, consistent, consistent...even with the ownership change about 4 months ago. The service is great, the food is always done to perfection - the overall value is outstanding.....standing ovation for this restaurant!!!!!

Great place to eat and drink along the Chapala malecon. Take a table outside and enjoy the beautiful view. I had the breaded shrimp dinner, and my wife had scallops. Free unlimited margaritas with your entree.

Wow. Stopped here for Margaritas. Stayed for dinner. They have an unadvertised special. 3 margaritas wirh ant item off the seafood or steak menu!. We had the frog legs and the stuffed shrimp. Both were good on their own but amazing as part of the deal. We stopped here because it was so busy at and we will be back. We had actually bought groceries to cook for dinner but had stayed to eat instead and will be back again!

Great inexpensive seafood with very good service for a group of 12.

Great food and drinks! Stop in for lunch or dinner. Famous for Free Flow Margaritas while you eat. No extra charge and they are not diluted!

If you like free WINE & Margaritas, It can not be beat #1. Food is OK, as in average. SERVICE is always great. Gerardo and Manuel are truly amazing waiters: always spot on, serving so many with such a positive attitude.

We have been going there for awhile now. We brought visitors from Texas with us the last time we were there. They loved it.
The food is delicious but what really sets it off is the service. They are so accommodating, quick to serve your food and drinks.

Great food with a wonderful view of the malecón

The shrimp cocktail was outstanding. The mocahete incredible, but way too much for two people. Their appetizer was outstanding. Nice place. Great service.

Great Sea Food & Superb Steaks Served with a Smile

Three glasses of Great Margaritas or Wine (M/W) served with certain meals (just ask which - all steaks & most sea food dinners) costing 120-200 Pesos.

We started with the shrimp dishes (including M/W), which were awesome, and then took a chance on the steak (on our 4th visit). The Filet Mignon is Large, Tender (16oz?) and Delicious for 160! The T-bone is superb, as are all of the other steaks (I've had them all). I've now had most of their steaks and can tell you that they are all great, but the filet is the best! My wife is all about the shrimp, but after she had a bite of my fillet, she has ordered it 4 times in a row! I am shocked but I can't blame her.

The service is also superb, too.

Today, we have a table of 10 or more Russians sitting next to us and all of the outside tables are Full, while all of the other, neighboring restaurants have been sitting empty!

The sea view is also nice. They have an open kitchen you can see from tables inside, clean his & her bathrooms, and sinks with liquid soap, Yes!

The value is Amazing, with great food, great service and great view. We have met people who drive over from Ajijic just to dine here.

Note: They Do have High Chairs for toddlers.

I see as many people drinking the white wine as I see drinking margaritas. I just had the red and it is nice (I am not a conneisour). My wife has been enjoying it every day.

If you like hot food and raw shrimp, I can highly recommend Camerones Al Agua-Chille. It an amazing dish of raw, peeled shrimp on a bed of lettuceand customers, covered with a green chili sauce and avocado slices, with a small bowl of the green chili sauce in the center of the plate. It is simply delicious. I wish that I had the picture to post, but each time I get it, I get so excited I dive right in....

Great restuarant with bottomless margaritas. Molcajete is an absolute must try. The view from the restuarant is limited but beautiful and service is very good.

Excellent service. Waiters are very efficient and very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Margaritas and wine are complimentary with any meal.
