Beautiful island. The canoe ride is less than 10 minutes. This is a enchanted village (Pueblo Encantado). Small with so much to see.

I felt so welcome during my visit to Mexcaltitan. the atmosphere was thriving with love and culture. I truly could have spent days upon the Island learning and absorbing everyone's knowledge and love.

I will be back many times to meet the visit the people who awaited me with open arms. My heart still fills with joy each time I think about my experience on the island and the thriving vibes that surround it.

Pleasent boat ride ride to the island. Once there, you can walk around and visit the vendors selling local goods and crafts. Plenty of restaurants to go too.

We stopped at La Alberca for some food. There was a short wait time (5-10 mins) to get seated. Food was good and a good price.

It's a nice family friendly place. The food is excellent and not expensive. It has a museum and the locals are very welcoming and friendly.

Mexcaltitan is a beautiful town with even more beautiful people. Their Souls are so open and humble is heart warming. I will be back to visit them and their small town in the future. I really could not love this place more.

PS. make sure to being bug spray! The mosquitos are horrible!
