Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of pools with very clear warm water and one large lake to swim. Picnic areas with lots of trees. Large parking lot, however part of the drive getting here was a dirt road. Many restaurants to eat inside and outside the park.

Beautiful turquoise hot springs. Beautiful place to stay in the parks Cottages or camping. Park has picnic tables, grills, and several small restaurants to eat if you prefer. Wifi is weak, and on weekends, the park can get pretty busy. Cottages are rustic and basic but served their purposes for a weekend get-away.

I have never seen such clear and clean water ever before. Snorkeling and scuba diving available here. You can see right to the bottom. Beautiful place just remember your bug spray for the mosquito's.

Visites around noon on a Friday, people were slowly coming in and pitching up tents. Each person has to pay their entry an additional charge for a tent.
Water is transparent and warm, the spring is deep, if you are not an average swimmer you may rent lifejackets, all children under 12 must swim with lifejacket.
You may rent SCUBA gear ans explore the 50 meter depth of the lake.

Media Luna is a beautiful, peaceful park with a lagoon that is great for swimming, there are also cenotes in the main area that you can dive into...a must go if you have a chance, although weekends are very busy with local tourists so plan accordingly

Great place to visit with plenty of water fun for all ages, anyone can swim in these warm waters, it actually has cabins for rent and delicious food for sale at great prices , I would definitely consider coming back even if it means another 5 hour drive.

Beautiful natural spring great for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. Water comes out from the source at a lukewarm temperature.

A tranquil place where you can swim in calm, warm and clear water. In a very unassuming location surrounded by nature with minimal touristic activity. Relax and enjoy!

This place is beautiful. It gets very crowded, because it is very tourist friendly. It's a very nice place to get in touch with nature in a not so profound manner, since human activity and intervention is very evident.
It's great for all kinds of swimmers. There are some shallow natural pools where one can walk with one's head above the water, in which learners can get to swim and improve their ability. There are more profound areas where the feet won't touch the ground. In some others, there are currents one can swim against, and that compose a good training for expert swimmers!

We went scuba diving and it was amazing. They show you a video, teach you how to put the equipment and practice with you in a shallow area for an hour before taking you to the deep. The guide also takes lots of pics and videos for you, which is awesome. The area overall is really pretty. There are several areas you can hang out with the family. The water is really fresh. If you go please pick up your trash! You'd be surprised how many do not.

Warm water year round.

It would be nice to sink something to have an item to view underwater. Good place to learn scuba diving. Not meant for advance in diving unless they sink something.
