Casa Tamayo

I loved my stay at Casa Tamayo! The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the house is in a great location on a very quiet street with a park, many restaurants, cafes, and a bike share station nearby. There’s a beautiful garden and impeccably curated art in all of the common areas.

Also, the service was amazing!! Consuelo went ABOVE AND BEYOND communicating with me when I accidentally left something after checking out.

As a repeated traveler to my beloved Mexico City, Coyoacan is the area I love to have as my home base. I have tried many places over the years and feel like I finally have found my forever spot - Casa Tamayo. Spacious rooms, good shower and very comfortable bed. Pillows could be a bit better, but in comparison to other places, they are still good. No breakfast offered, but a wonderful kitchen and dinning for common use areas. Little garden and a quiet street of Coyoacan. I am in heaven here!

Great accommodations within a lovely part of Mexico City. Room itself very spacious, clean and well equipped. Location in close walking distance to some cute cafes for breakfasts & coffees, easy to find for Ubers etc- wish we could have stayed longer - thank you to the staff and owners!

We are in our 60's and spend time mainly in Querétaro. We love trips to Mexico City and have stayed in all the known areas: Polanco, Condesa, Chapultepec, La Roma and Zona Rosa. Coyoacán is charming. This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was a very relaxing beautiful place to stay. The moment you enter the property you can see the attention to detail and will be instantly soothed by the lovely and home like decor. We thoroughly enjoyed the lounge areas and communal kitchen. We stayed in the deluxe room with King Bed. I would say it was above average for comfort. Spacious, great shower and very comfortable bed with a view of the back garden. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

My girlfriend and i had the most beautiful stay here! Consuelo and Carlos (the owners) were incredibly warm and kind, the location was perfect, and the home itself was beautiful beyond words, with many original artworks from prominent Mexican artists displayed throughout. Wonderful place!

This is the best place I've stayed in in years of visiting Mexico City. Great location. Close to lots of good restaurants.

Stunning boutique hotel that is clean, in a very quiet location, and run by very friendly and accommodating hosts. The location is perfect with two mercados within 10 minutes of walking, the Frida Kahlo museum, and many good restaurants and cafes. We look forward to coming back and staying here again.

I love this beautiful boutique hotel it’s very close to the main plaza of Coyoacán and many restaurants and bars. The host was wonderful. I will stay here again when I come back to Mexico City.

Lovely hotel located in south Mexico City. Lots of things to do and see near by. The Casa Azul of Frida Kahlo is 10 min. away in walking distance.

This place is such a gem. Love the MCM vibe and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Will be back for sure!

Owners are running the place. Super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very tidy and well taken care of. It'll be nice of they can add some coffee, tea or small breakfast with the room.

Stayed here a few days and they were very accommodating. Staff is amazing! Very peaceful place to relax.

Beautiful house at an excellent location.

El lugar está super lindo, te da un ambiente de tranquilidad. Las habitaciones están muy bien, las camas super cómodas y confortables.
El jardín es simplemente encantador. Pero lo mejor es la atención por parte de los anfitriones, siempre están atentos y al pendiente de cualquier cosa que se ofrezca.
Me voy muy contenta y con ganas de regresar! 😊

Excelente ubicación del hospedaje. Sin duda el ambiente y la decoración te transportan a otros momentos de la Ciudad de México.
Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas.
Los patios y jardines son excelentes para disfrutar la tarde y leer un libro.

Como huésped te sientes bien recibido por su estilo acogedor con amplios espacios y áreas comunes, extraordinario servicio por parte de los anfitriones, limpieza y seguridad. Además de tener una excelente ubicación en el corazón de Coyoacán.
Lo considero muy buena opción para los que buscamos un lugar seguro y céntrico en una zona histórica al sur de la CDMX.

Definitivamente el mejor sitio para hospedarse en la Ciudad de México. Consuelo y Alex súper amables, te hacen sentir como en casa y te ayudan con cualquier duda que tengas de orientación y te aconsejan lugares qué visitar. La ubicación inmejorable, a minutos caminando del hermoso centro de Coyoacán. Lo recomiendo siempre a todos mis amigos que viajan a México. No puedo esperar a volver.

Hace unas semanas me hospede ahí y tuve un excelente servicio. Todo súper limpio y muy bonito. Te sientes como en tu casa. Tiene una excelente ubicación al sur de la ciudad. Coyoacán en un gran lugar para visitar y hospedarte en la CDMX. Todas el personal súper amable. Muy recomendable. Sin duda en mi próxima visita a la ciudad me hospedare de nuevo ahi.

Mi estacia en este lugar fue de lo más placentera además las instalaciones son muy aplias y comodas, se respira un ambiente de hogar, se encuentra cerca del Centro de Coyoacán lo cuál facilita visitar este sitio turístico incluso cerca del museo "Frida Kahlo". El personal siempre fue muy amable y atento siempre con recomendaciones de lugares maravillosos que se pueden visitar a los arededores. Sin duda alguna regresaré pronto.
