This place is an outstanding experience. If you're in CDMX, bring this to the top of your list of destinations. I recommend getting your tickets at least a week in advance as they sell out quickly. It's nice because there are never too many people in the museum at any one time which makes it feel like you get to see everything you want to.

Beautiful museum, Frida is a legend and to see her beautiful home is a must to see.

Highly recommend to visit this museum if you’re visiting CDMX.

Buy your tickets weeks ahead of time and also spend the extra $30 pesos to take pictures.

The staff speaks English and Spanish and once you’re in you can see the whole museum for about 2 hours.

Buy your ticket online!!! No exceptions. The staff is super kind, and friendly, Ale one of their staff was super helpful. You cannot buy tickets there and you must confirm that your tour includes a ticket or if you have to buy it separately. The entire house takes around 1 hour to get through, and is beautifully kept. Staff are knowledgeable of its history, so you can ask them. Also, you can only take pictures, no video, and you must purchase that pass when you buy your ticket.

It is unlike any museum I have ever been to. Like being invited into someone’s home, posthumously, to bask in all the art and their personal collection and artefacts. It’s like coming to know someone, their innermost thoughts (e.g., the corset that held her up, how she saw herself, how much she loved Diego), and it’s a beautiful, wonderful experience.

Buy tickets online and in advance. Be early to line up and expect there to always be a crowd. They’ll say the whole museum will take you 45 minutes. Unless you’re prepared to rush through, plan for 1.5-2 hours. Take in Freda’s indomitable spirit and be inspired.

I didn't knew much about Frida Khalo and after visiting La Casa Azul I learned a lot. A must visit place if you are in CDMX. Make sure you buy your tickets online in advance.

Plan on buying your tickets a week ahead of time if you plan on just visiting the museum as they do sell out. I tried to book tickets for a Friday on a Thursday morning and the only option was to buy a bundled tour for Xochimilco, Coyacan, and the Frida Kahlo Museum ($100). The museum itself if beautiful, peaceful, and worth the visit.

First things first - you would definitely be missing out if you visited Mexico City and did not take the time to visit the Freda Kahlo Museum. Because of how absolutely popular the museum is (Freda is monumental to Mexican culture and artistry) it’s imperative to book your tickets to the museum as soon as possible.

It’s timed ticket entry, so also be sure to make it on time - if not earlier than the time in your ticket.

Aside from that, it is a very smooth check-in process. If you would like to take pictures inside of the house (where all of the art & artefacts are) you will need to buy an additional ticket at the museum.

It took me around an hour to get through the different rooms in the house. Bear in mind that it is a small house and there will be a lot of people walking through the gallery. But most people are mindful that you may want to take pictures and will give you space.

I learned so much more about the life of Freda and Diego by going to the museum. Although it is not a guided tour, there are staff around the museum who are knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions that you may have.

After taking the tour of the museum there are beautiful grounds with fountains, a gift shop and a coffee shop to peruse.

While not sharing to much, I have to say that as an artist by far, one of my favorite experiences to date. To be there where Frida and Diego lived and did art. It was something special.

If I have any downside it would be that there were a lot of people. But with the right timing you can go about the museum like as if they are not there.

Highly recommend giving yourself time to explore the surrounding city as well.

The Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico was really cool! Her colorful art and the stories about her life were awesome to see. The museum is set up in a way that makes it easy to follow her art journey. The people who work there are friendly and know a lot about Frida Kahlo. If you like art or just want to learn about a cool artist, you should definitely check it out!

Beautiful house and the landscape was also very beautiful, the tour was great, get to experience the life of Frida from birth to her death. Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time or else if you wait til you get there there won't be any available.

Such an amazing experience to get to see where Frida and Diego lived. You get to explore the garden, and all of the rooms within the house. It was cool to see the bed where she painted, her easel, and all of her dresses. The garden is beautiful and the gift shop has some nice gifts to take back home.

A must-visit place in Mexico City in my opinion. Not only this visually curated and presented Frida’s life from childhood and throughout her prolific years with Diego Rivera, it also emphasized the artist’s resilience despite debilitating health and challenges. Her grace and impeccable style matched her inner strength.

Very beautiful and thought provoking house, garden and museum. Tranquil, partly due to time-controlled entry slots (although you may stay as long as you need, once in)

Its hwartwarming to be there, quite. large place, some coffee place inside I havent managed to try due to time contrains, no need to print ticket, also the people are quite sensitive when they stay in queue, the guards do not let you anymore to enter earlier than your slot, need to buy extra ticket for fotos

If you're a Frida enthusiast like myself, the museum is an absolute delight. It’s like stepping into Frida's life, providing an up-close view of her personal world. From her dolls to the kitchen with dishes bearing her initials, her painting station, bed, and even her suitcase – every detail is meticulously preserved. The expansive and beautiful yard adds to the charm, and Frida's wardrobe is a testament to her distinctive style. Exploring the museum is like connecting intimately with Frida Kahlo's life, making it a must-visit for those who appreciate her art and persona.

Despite the absence of online ticket options, acquiring them on-site was easy.

Number 1 Tip: Buy your tickets in advance! Yes, you can show the tix on your phone. If you want to take pictures inside you have to pay $30 pesos and it’s well worth it! Uber rides are easy for pick up and drop off.
The museum and house itself is beautiful and well-maintained. Don’t forget to visit the exhibit in the back where there is a display of her dresses.

Plan the visit in advance and buy the tickets at least a week in advance as they get sold out.

As for the museum, it was interesting to learn more about Frida's life. Her house is beautiful with a lovely garden.

The ticket is however quite expensive, and I'm not sure Frida would appreciate the capitalisation of her life in such a way.

Fabulous. A wonderful insight into the lives of Frida Kahlo and Diego Riviera.

You must book your tickets online and well in advance as it's very popular.

Buy ticket ahead of time! Gorgeous well maintained house museum of Frida Kahlo. The space to walk around inside the house is very less.
