Wonderful location in lovely Coyocan. Staff are very kind and helpful. Rooms are nice but one at the back (Agatha, I think) does have a very noisy hot water pump close by. The staff were very accommodating about trying to turn this off when possible, but it might be an issue for some. The breakfast was very nice. Overall, definitely a good choice

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Agata Hotel Spa and Boutique. From the moment we walked in, we were met with the warmth and kindness of the staff who went above and beyond in their duties. Special mention goes to Ivan and Fernanda, whose caring and attentive service made our stay all the more memorable.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing, coming back to such a room was a pleasure. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. From a range of healthy options to Mexican specialities, the breakfast spread was delicious with lots of different options and a great way to start the day.

A unique touch that we greatly appreciated was the nightly tea service. The thoughtfulness of the gesture added to the charm of the Agata Hotel.

The hotel's location is great. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance, making it a great choice for food lovers. The neighborhood is also very safe.

We highly recommend Agata.

Incredibly cosy boutique hotel. The level and quality of service provided by Ivan was comparable to that of a luxury 5-star hotel concierge. Anticipated and personalized care. Great rooms and common spaces. Rarely seen that level of value for money.

This was such a wonderful experience. The neighborhood and the staff (Ximena especially) were so helpful and friendly. Our room was perfect. The breakfasts were made with love every morning. Surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. A little less bougie than Roma Norte, but super sweet.

The place was charming and everyone was so pleasant and helpful, especially Ximena! They breakfast had a great variety of options and they even washed our clothes, so we are ready to go back home without like that worry. Great location. Highly recommended!

We had a change of plans while in Coyoacan and at the last moment lucked in to two nights’ reservations at Ágata Boutique and Spa—it’s designed beautifully and tastefully. There are four rooms available. It’s a little oasis within a city and very convenient to Centro Coyoacán. Walking distance to many wonderful coffee shops and restaurants.

There is a living/library sitting area and an indoor and outdoor cafe where breakfast/brunch is served.

We enjoyed breakfast on 1/2/24 at the hotel. The menu is pretty extensive and the staff is very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions.

The room we stayed in was a King bedroom. Among some of the amenities—coffee maker, mini fridge, room safe, bath tub and shower in the en suite accommodations. WiFi was consistent.

We loved the wonderful team who took care of us—Ivan, Frida, Bernardo, Eduardo.

Do not hesitate to book this lovely boutique hotel. Full service desk, kitchen, and housekeeping and only a few rooms makes this spot a luxury. Located near the market of Coyoacan - this is as the perfect spot to explore museums and Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera’a home and Musuem. The staff all are fluent in English and were incredibly helpful with all our naive questions.

This is a great hotel to stay at, particularly for special occasions. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and really comfortable with a super king bed, nice robes and lovely luxurious bedding. Our room also had a Nespresso machine, TV with Netflix and a big bath.

We were staying for a special occasion and the team went out the way to make it memorable. Ivan in particular was great!

Location is perfect for a Coyoacán stay - we liked a bar called Jupiter 30 seconds walk away, and the markets, great restaurants and the Frida Kahlo museum are about 10 minutes walk away.

The service especially , Carmen, Valeria, and Fernancia were always so attentive and perfect hosts. The included breakfast is like a 5 course meal and so delicious. Highly recommend staying here

I had the warmest welcome and a great experience when prepping for my proposal date. Iván, Fernanda, and Bernardo were of the most assistance, and their recommendations were suitable. The whole experience consisted of a couple's massage and dinner at night light on the roof garden. They also helped with the decorations just as I wanted them.

We arrived at Agata as guests and left as family. We had the pleasure of staying at this boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Coyoacan for approximately 3 weeks and we can truly say the service was outstanding from day 1 to 21. The staff was very attentive to every detail and all of our needs. Every evening the staff provided hot tea and snacks to our room. The pharmacy next door and the location of this boutique hotel was very convenient. Thank you to Carolina and her staff for making our stay comfortable and memorable. Definitely by far exceeded our expectations!

Amazing hotel and exceptional service in the heart of Mexico City! The rooms are beautiful, clean and modern.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they really made it feel like we were vacationing on a remote resort instead of the hear of Mexico City.

All rooms are quiet, beautiful, modern and calming. We loved the bed and tub.

The spa services were great, we loved our massages and left very relaxed.

Included breakfast was delicious and great quality. The massages recommended were amazing as well and the terrace is beautiful and very relaxing.

They made us feel at home, and we really enjoyed our stay! We are definitely looking forward to returning!

Wow, I just want to gush a little! What an amazing boutique Hotel was! We were only in the amethyst room one night but that was all it took to make my son and myself feel like royalty! From the greeting on the phone it is already clear, this is another level of hospitality. The room, the bed, yesss… that bathroom!!! This is what service is supposed to be! The staff was so attentive and went above and beyond chain hotel responsiveness when I realized that I had left behind a piece of jewelry! Thank you a thousand times over! I look forward to booking for my husband and I in the near future… love is in the air!!!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location just one of the best if you want to have a real Mexican experience. The hotel has one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The bedrooms are really well decorated with special touches like: for minibar free of charge, complementary tea after a day of walking, free coffee, free chocolates, and many other goodies. In the bathroom there is a huge bathtub.

This is a quiet, artfully designed, lovely boutique hotel. Everything is elevated including the service. The spa is excellent. My room had a comfortable balcony. The toiletries and mini fridge were nice touches too. They speak excellent English. I recommend communicating with them on whatsapp if you're from the states.

This place is your number one place if you want to stay in Mexico City. The premises is very carefully decorated, the staff is incredibly nice, comfy beds and a rooftop terrace that will blow your mind. They also offer vegan breakfast if you ask for it and the neighbourhood is one of the best in town, with two vegan restaurants a minute away and beautiful markets not more than 5 minutes around the corner.

Agata is perfectly situated in Coyoacan, which in and of itself is a beautiful, chill, artistic neighborhood. I was very impressed with the service provided at Agata. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating - they go above and beyond to please which made our trip that much more special. The spa services and food are great as well. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If I ever go back to Coyoacan, Agata will definitely be where I stay!

The staff warmth and professionalism are unparalleled, they always greet you with a smile and always manage to make your stay more enjoyable. They are incredible caring and attentive. The breakfasts are delicious and the decor is absolutely charming. The location of the hotel is lovely, it is located at the bohemian and artistic neighborhood of Coyoacan, which makes it great for walking to many eateries and cafes in the area.

I cannot recommend this place enough, Ágata Hotel Boutique & Spa is truly definition of great hospitality.
