La Casa de Los Tacos Coyoacán

A week and a half here in Mexico City and this was the first time I could finish what I ordered, Enchiladas Verde Con Pollo was just delicious, paired with a great Mezcal by the English speaking waiter, and the Goat cheese with nuts & honey, finished with a Pina Colada and coffee... FABULOUS! Will go back again before I leave.

Honestly, one of the best places I've been to in the past week. Classical tacos and Mexican food, but also things you don't find everywhere! For example dishes with insects ;)

Cute and cozy with a lot to offer! The ambiance of the place is very welcoming with local artwork and great srrvice. Amazing food! Great selection of local specialties! Eduardo speaks very good English and was very helpful and friendly in explaining the meanings of all their menu items and the rich history of the restaurant! We hope to come back to La Casa de los Tacos again to experience the real Mexico feel. Thank you!

Really unique menu! Loved the chorizo tacos, and all the different salsas. Tried a pulque de marzipan- very interesting tasting! Nice atmosphere, service and good prices!

A very good place for trying Mexican food. One of the best tacos I've ever eaten. Not the cheapest, but it's worth every cent. At least one of the waiters speaks English very well and he described all the things we wanted to try. Highly recommended!

Best little gem in Coyocan Mexico City. The Birria Tacos were the best I have ever had! The intimate dark setting makes for the perfect hide away from the chaos of the streets and the perfect Classic Margarita melts you into a different world. For the adventurous eater they have wonderful crispy local delights like the ones pictured below. This was by far my favorite place! The owner and his wife also have a gem of a gift shop that they go all around Mexico to collect treasures for.

Food was good but service was very bad, they only had one waitress for by the whole restaurant.

Very good food, freshly made. We ordered pickled chicken tacos and guac and rice with plantain chips and they were awesome. Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well.

Great place to try traditional and not so traditional mexican food at a fair price. The tacos de chile were a very unique thing worth trying. Tortillas are hand made at the moment and are really amazing.

Great service! English Menu! Delicious food. This was the best lunch stop for my friends and I when we decided to visit Coyoacán for the day. I got the three tacos and they were delicious.

Super delicious food. The guacamole was extra creamy and the margaritas were the best we had all over town.

Absolutely best taco I have had in Mexico City. Superb service and food. The pork taco is my all time favorite.

Mexican standards done right & deliciously - we especially loved the Toluca chorizo and pork, rice & plantains, azteca & tortilla soups. Good artesanal beers as well!

Comida tipica Mexicana made with care. Definitely worth the one block walk from the plaza. I tried several items from the Traditional Mexican menu. ALL WERE SUPERBLY CRAFTED. And I am a very picky eater. There is also a "pre-hispanica" menu that I simply was not brave enough to try...

Great tacos and traditional Mexican dishes. The mextlapique fish fillet is delicious 😋

The tortillas are made to order, so they're at most a minute old when you get them. Everything we ordered was delicious, our favorites were the steak + shrimp and the chapulites.
