Antiguo Palacio De Coyoacán

Very nice casual Mexican eatery in the central Coyoacan area. I’ve been here a few times and it’s been consistently reliable on quality of food. I mean, it’s not top notch by any sense but with the casual atmosphere and casual pricing, very good value restaurant. I felt the Arrachera steak may be a bit of a hit and miss. Most times it’s super juicy and tasty but once I’ve had a dry cut that I mostly wrapped it up in a tortilla with a bunch of salsa which made it much better. Flavor was good though!
Over all, it’s a nice place to have food with some great decor and great tasting food for the price point!

I got to try the crickets for the first time in Mexico. I dipped them in guacamole and it was a alright. The restaurant has great food and the staff is nice. The area is very touristic as well.

Delicious food and drinks, beautiful spot. You can sit in the terrace in the sun right in the square or inside in the patio or in the different dining rooms of this restaurant.
