Mansión de Papilo

A lovely and unique mansion. Come here for the fantasy: you can walk around and feel transported to another era as you stroll the garden (featuring two peacocks) and library or look at yourself in a giant gold-bordered floor to ceiling mirror.

Lovely 1923 era Parisian structure. Quick walk to main bars and restaurants in Coyoacan. Staff was attentive and little details set it apart as a unique experience — e.g. peacocks roaming the property, champagne upon arrival, and a musician singing and playing guitar during breakfast. It’s an old property that they’ve done a nice job maintaining and renovating (new, clean showers and whirlpool tubs, smart TVs) but still has some room to improve in minor repairs. We stayed in the Juliette suite, which was very private and felt almost like a separate airbnb as it’s set off to the leftmost side of the building and has a separate entrance. My only criticism of the suite an abstract, colorful painting of Marilyn Monroe that felt out of place for the ambiance of the otherwise tastefully appointed room. Most of the other guests had a private experience — cinema Al Fresca in a private yurt, an engagement proposal with a rose-lined path to a picnic, and a private dinner in the wine cellar. Management gave us a tour and it was apparent how committed they are to catering to the needs of each couple and helping shape the experience. We were only here a night but would definitely come back and stay for longer.

Such an amazing place. Very peaceful and I loved the peacocks strolling around. Great service and I hope to be back soon!

Staying at Mansion Papilio was a magical week long experience! We were able to witness from afarThe romantic experiences that people came for. We heard the musicians and opera singers wafting through our windows. And Enrique and Samantha are soooo wonderful. We felt like they were a part of our own family. The staff was also a delight. A gorgeous old renovated mansion with very upscale renovated rooms. Every detail is gorgeous. Perfectly located a few blocks away from all the great restaurants. Very safe neighborhood. Excellent service.

Excellent service, huge rooms, reasonable price. Breakfast was great every morning, as were the grounds with dogs and peacocks running around. On our third night there we stayed in the pool house suite which was excellent, having a private swimming pool. Would definitely stay here again! One complaint we had however, was that we did not know that they rent the mansion out for other private events. So when we checked in there was a birthday party going on, and then later on that evening there seem to be a “date night“ dinner going on. These did not interfere with our stay, however I wish we had known and been prepared that other people will be using the property and not just those were staying in the rooms. Overall, I would still recommend, but just a little bit of a warning to other guests. And lastly, the pool that they have on property is only for those who are renting the pool suite, and not for the guests in the other rooms, so keep that in mind in case you thought there was a “public“ pool for all hotel guests.

I LOVE this place and I’m picky!! The service is amazing, chandeliers everywhere, best blend of antique & modern & so many thoughtful touches! We saw from our balcony a couple getting engaged at their dinner outside (a red carpet laid out) & fireworks. Doesn’t get much better!

Lots of other events going on at the same time as our vacation. This wasn’t mentioned prior to our stay, however, didn’t distract much from our experience. There isn’t a pool for guests to use! You must purchase the pool suite to use the only pool on premises. Overall, a fantastic experience the above mentioned hiccups. This is a wonderful place to stay with two butlers who will take care of you! The rooms are a little rustic/glam but still the property is wonderful. Breakfast with the peacocks and puppies made our experience 10/10. Breakfast was superb each day. They make a mean omelet!

The room was perfect with a garden view. Extremely cleaned and service was amazing. Martin went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I loved the location.

It is a beautiful villa in the heart of Coyoacan. I had a lovely stay here, very recommended for a romantic weekend. Just watch the pictures. It really looks line that.

El personal es muy amable y cordial. La casa-mansión tiene espacios increíbles, de revista, mismos que pueden ser rentados de acorde a la experiencia que uno quiere vivir. Puede funcionar para una gran reunión privada, locación, evento familiar o de negocios, etc...las opciones son muy variadas. Grandes espacios y spots para grabaciones y sesiones fotográficas de ensueño.

Éste es el perfecto, lugar para relajarte un lugar inédito escondido en las inmediaciones de Coyoacán, un escape de la ciudad sin salir de la ciudad, accesible todos los medios de entretenimiento, seguridad y salud Una limpieza excelente el personal muy atento y la compañía de las aves y la música hacen que estés el Rincón. Perfecto jamás encontrado

Usamos esta casa como locación para una producción. Desde el patio hasta las habitaciones son ideales para grabar una casa tipo victoriana. Incluso tiene accesorios como de 1950, entre teléfonos y cuadros. La verdad volvería a grabar ahí siempre.

Un viaje en el tiempo, un lugar encantador y con una ubicación perfecta en el corazón de Coyoacán. El servicio impecable un staff que ofrece atención de primera y personalizada. Gran recomendación
