Fortunata Café

Very happy that I found this Café in a very quit side street. It’s nice to sit outside. The food was very good. Staff was very caring & welcoming. They have a lunch menu available with a soup, main and drink. You have to check it out!

Super cute cafe. The mole chilaqeles were pretty good. The coffee was served in unique mugs. The rooftop had a few tables with lots of plants and shade.

Fabulous atmosphere and great food. Sit upstairs in the terrace. Everything we ordered was delicious. Great service too. Kudos to the chef.

The place is awesome, especially the terace behind the building. For breakfast they offer typical Mexican dishes. Further, the internet is excellent and we could even work a bit there.

We really enjoyed this pace! It's a very chill (comfortable) space with a fantastic breakfast menu. I had the chilaquiles rojos with fried eggs instead of chicken and it was delicious!

VERY cute Cafe with delicous food, great cappuccino and cozy atmosphere. The outdoor upstairs patio is so calming and natural surrounded with many plants. A fantastic choice to go for brunch.

My cousins and I recently visited Fortunata Cafe and had a wonderful experience. We sat in the balcony, which surrounded my so many beautiful plants. The owner was very welcoming and took time to come talk to us and explain the menu to us. The food was one of the best we had during our stay in Mexico City. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The coffee and juice were also very tasty. Highly recommend this quaint cafe!!

Cute cafe with excellent cake and food. Good opportunity to earwig some foreigner chats as well, if you are so inclined.

Beautiful and intimate space at the terrace. Delicious food with a comfortable environment. Not at the crowded square of Coyoacán :)

Very nice food and super kind service!!

This is the best breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in Coyoacan. We went here four times during our stay in the area because we couldn't get enough. The owner is a sweetheart, he's also the owner/chef of Santa Lucia next door. Both are fantastic, but Fortunata stole our hearts and stomaches. Get the scones and lemon lavender cake. The chilaquiles de mole with arrachera is one of the best dishes I had in my two weeks here. Sit upstairs in the outside patio surrounded by plants and you'll be in heaven.

On a recent trip to Coyoacan, we visited this resto and its sister location, Santa Lucia, four times. Delish food, welcoming service and lovely atmosphere. Chef/owner Sergio made us feel welcome and even gave us a present of homemade honey with honeycomb to take back home. Highly recommended!
