I stayed the course with Baja Rehab for about six months and just got out a few months ago. I’m still sober, I transferred to a great sober living in the states and have a sponsor who I was fortunate enough to connect with in Mexico! I met so many amazing people that not only work for Baja Rehab, but of course other clients just like me- who are now some of the closest friends I will ever have. It’s like family down there; so much unity, It’s hard to describe. I usually drive down there every other weekend just to help out and be a part of some of the AA meetings that they put together. I love the speakers that go down and share their experience strength and hope! I continue to meet with my counselor Juan, periodically as well as my psychologist Felipe! I have so much gratitude for Baja Rehab… They saved my life… ! However I do still take it one day at a time and put a ton of action into the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. I have commitments at multiple meetings and continue with my personal spiritual mental and physical journey/program. I am forever grateful and of course thankful for Jess and Adam; owners of Baja, for continued encouragement through this process. It’s been a journey and I survived.

My step son Allan has been attending this rehab for 9 months now. When he got there he was severely addicted to drugs and traumatized by what he had put our family through. He needed a place where he would be treated with dignity and individually recognized after what he’d been through and this is what he found here. Not only is he treated with genuine compassion but the people including the owner treat him like he’s family. There is an exceptional quality here from the medical treatment to the abundance of nutrition, therapy exercise and wellness assistance. This is more than just a rehab, This is a wellness center. We have seen a great change in our stepson, and we are so grateful to have found this place. If you want a life worth living start here.

To Baja Rehab and Adam,

This place is one I was terrified to go to, to get the help I needed, but I was more terrified of not going and putting in the work to help save my life; and that is exactly what Baja rehab did for me. With the help and support of all the staff and the amazing work I did with my psychologist, I started to change my way of thinking, acting and behaving. This place truly helped me to see myself, understand myself and love myself. In my addiction I didn’t want to face myself and now after having gone there and received so much love, support and help every step of the way, I can finally do that. I found the strength to stop running from my problems and finally face them head on and stop lying to myself. Because of Baja rehab, I have reconnected with myself, my friends and my family. Honesty and integrity are values I have always had, but lost in my addiction. After six months there of rigorous work, I am still happily sober with nine months, working two jobs and finally back on track in life. My life feels so full and fulfilled and I’m extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to go there and remember exactly what I’m made of. Thank you so much for all that you have done for me, Baja rehab was that stepping stone I needed and has become apart of my core foundation in helping me feel like I am right where I belong. In meetings they ask, how did you do it. And with the help of Baja rehab it’s easier to say how I didn’t have to do it: alone. I found and made deep connections with my peers and we began to navigate through life sober and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to start my recovery there.

I went to Baja rehab over a year ago now, for their three month program. i was scared, but
it was the best decision i made in my life. Adam and his staff work hard to show recovering addicts there is a way to be sober, and they take you out (water park, beach, horseback riding, bowling, etc) to show you you could be sober and have fun. they take you to meetings outside of the rehab, and have a good scheduled routine to keep busy throughout the day, that includes meditation, check-ins, informative videos, and some fun. they have a store you could buy snacks from, and they have amazing chefs. the program itself is great, and you could tell Some of the staff really cares.

I am so thankful for the dedication and caring attitude of Adam and all of the staff at Baja. I made the trip in January from Georgia to San Diego to try to get my son help after being in psychosis for 8 months (lost 80 lbs in 4 months) and after we landed in San Diego he bolted. I had to return to Georgia not knowing if I would ever see him again. Three days later I got a call from the San Diego PD that my son was in custody and was being transported to a hospital. Adam sent someone to pick him up and transport him to Baja. I am just returning from my second visit there and I am so pleased with all of the staff and the care he is receiving. My son has been a particularly difficult case so his stay there has been much longer than most. I have tried with no success to get help for him in the US for over 14 years. Adam and Baja saved my son’s life and I am so thankful. If you are thinking of sending a loved one here I would highly recommend you do it. I am willing and eager to speak to anyone who has any concerns or questions as a parent or caregiver. Please feel free to reach out to Adam for my contact information and I will happily share my experience.

I offer my highest recommendation for Baha Rehab, believing that the unique aspects of this program were instrumental in saving the life of our adult son, who attempted to take his own life out of desperation to overcome his serious and overwhelming Substance Abuse Disorder. Baha Rehab stands out among treatment programs in that it offers a safe, therapeutic environment that the person suffering from a Substance Use Disorder may not voluntarily leave. One could pay exponentially more money for programs in the United States, only to have their loved one walk away from treatment at the most critical time, as addiction is a chronically relapsing brain disorder that fights for itself in the sufferer’s brain and needs significant time of sobriety and therapy for new brain pathways to form.

Director Adam Lincoln was invaluable to us in preparing for our son’s admittance to the program during a truly frightening time, and being available to us through the process of his therapy and final release at a time when our son had the greatest potential to continue his therapy on an outpatient basis. The caring staff, excellent variety of personalized therapies and evaluations, along with the proven 12 step model, gave our son the confidence he needed to build a foundation to continue recovering from his significant trauma.

Baha Rehab is not a sterile, clinical setting, but offers supportive family atmosphere in natural, relaxed setting that is at the same time utterly secure, and where the SUD sufferer is treated as a whole person and given adequate time to develop the coping skills necessary to begin a new life. The family component allows families to be a part of their loved one’s recovery without falling into co-dependent patterns. This component was made conveniently available through on-line connection with the staff and the patient, supplemented by in-person family visits when appropriate.

I feel certain that our son would not be alive today had he been admitted to even the most luxurious, highly rated facility in the US, and we will remain ever grateful to God and the person who recommended Baja Rehab to our family.

We took our 22 year son to Baja after 17 stays in US rehabs, where he ran every time. From the moment I spoke with Adam (owner), I knew this was where our son needed to be. John has been at Baja since June and has made more progress than ever before. He is drug and alcohol free for the first time in years and is surrounded by competent and loving people who support him each and every day.

His psychologist, Felipe, stays in constant contact with us and we visit John weekly via ZOOM. We visited him last month and stayed at the Las Rocas Hotel (right down the street from the rehab) and were delighted with our accommodations. During our visit with John, at Baja, we were introduced to EVERYONE and we could not believe the outpouring of kindness from every staff member, it is truly an incredible place.

Initially, I was hesitant about sending our son to Mexico for rehab but we are so glad we made the decision. He is safe and finally, finally getting the help he needs.

Thank you Baja, for all you are doing for our son and our family!

Sometimes it's hard to ask for help, but when most of the rehabs in the United States are all about scamming insurance companies it's easy to see why places like this are necessary. If you really want help, and not to be set up for failure to be a recurring "customer" give this place a shot. They've had good success

Literal godsend. Thank you. Adam. Felipe. All staff who supported my family member and our family—you went above and beyond. Thank you so very much.

I’m so grateful to have found you guys. What Baja has to offer is completely unique and desperately needed right now.

Adam, the owner, answered our call and walked our family through everything. We drove 8 hours there the next day. Adam checked in regularly and made sure we we’re OK throughout, despite it being his weekend home with family.

It’s difficult to write a Google review and adequately express what has transpired- but I’m leaving one for the next person that’s here desperately looking for help. If you’re here reading this, you may have an inkling of the hell that brought me here reading these same reviews a few months ago. Baja is a game changer.

I can’t change another person. I get it. However, there are certain times/unique circumstances when someone needs a safe & supportive environment— for a few months— and be respectfully required to stay in place. Then, maybe- hopefully, they are fortunate enough to decide what they want to do with their lives. Baja empowered our person- guided them, kept them safe, and loved them until they were ready to take the next step.

Adam remained available but transitioned contact to our therapist, Felipe. We had weekly calls with Felipe and he worked regularly with our family member one-on-one while there. Felipe was the most patient, loving and beautiful guide throughout this process for our family. Adam went completely out of his way again to ensure our family member transitioned smoothly.

I’m happy to be a reference if someone needs it- it’s the least thing I could ever do. Adam can give you my number if he feels it would be useful. I’m indebted. Grateful beyond.

Words cannot describe my experience with Baja rehab. At a time in my life when everything was a complete wreck and drinking alcohol WAS the ONLY priority in my life. My family and I turned to Adam and Baja rehab for help. Coming from the States it was a bit scary, the idea of going to Mexico for an extended period of time not knowing exactly when I’d be returning was not something that was easy for me to do. I’m sure glad I did. When I first got to Baja in May 2022 I was greeted by Baja rehab staff coordinator Juan and head security guard Saul, I was still drunk of the 2 month binge I had been on, they made me feel welcome and safe. Like any addict the idea of giving away control was not something easy for me to do.Unlike many rehab I had been to in the states where it’s all financially driven and I didn’t feel like I was getting any answers or didn’t even know what questions to ask, My experience with Baja Rehab was great after settling into the program and really putting the effort fourth, I felt really like I was beginning to feel change. All the baggage I had been caring I felt was left at Baja Rehab. I opened up myself to people like Councilor Felipe and Erin was made to feel comfortable every step of the way.
As a recovering addict all we do is bottle things up and Baja Rehabs program allowed me to little by little become aware about my addiction/disease.
All in All the staff are very friendly understanding, the weekly outings and THE VIEW are incredible, and I am extremely grateful that even to this day Adam Lincoln is only a call or text away or any of the Baja Rehab staff..
If I can give 6 stars i would✅✅

I sent my son to Baja rehab almost 6 months ago after his 10 year long battle with drugs and alcohol. He had severe panic attacks that lead him to become dependent on Xanax and alcohol among other drugs. Since going to Baja rehab his life had changed 180 degrees, He is an active member of a 12 step program and is the happiest I have seen him since he was a kid. I am truly grateful for Adam and everyone at Baja Rehab, they saved my sons life !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Baja Rehab, and I must say it was an incredible experience! The first thing that stood out to me was how casual and laidback the atmosphere was. It was such a refreshing change from the sterile and clinical environment of other treatment centers I had been to before. To be honest it was really professional.

One of the cool things of Baja Rehab was the owner, Adam . He genuinely cares about his clients and does everything he can to ensure their comfort and wellbeing. In other facilities you rarely speak to the people in charge and he is their almost every day.I also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Rochin, who helped me overcome some psychotic symptoms that I was experiencing. His patience and understanding really made a difference for me.

Overall, I would highly recommend Baja Rehab to anyone who is looking for a treatment center that prioritizes comfort, care, and wellbeing. The staff is exceptional, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the experience was truly life-changing. Five stars all the way.

I had a wonderful experience at Baja Rehab. I had hit rock bottom. With the help of the program and the wonderful staff. I was able to recover. My psychologist and my counselor worked together and made a game plan for me and it worked. Adam one of the owners is amazing. The doctors and nurses are caring and very professional. I am on a special diet and the chefs made me special meals daily. They have great
bon fire meetings twice weekly. Exercise, yoga and Sunday outings. I never had to do anything but work on myself. I am truly great full for the treatment I received at
Baja Rehab. I highly recommend this facility. One more thing, you get to look at the
Pacific Ocean. Wonderful for daily meditation. Beautiful and clean facility .

Baja Rehab is an amazing and restorative Hacienda which provides safe, patient-centered care in a peaceful and caring environment. Every single person at Baja Rehab cares about the mission to help the fallen and addicted. The staff here will listen to you and help you or the one you love. Do not wait another minute, get help now, make the call, talk to the staff and you too will realize there is another option then the endless games and torture of the broken system for substance abuse in the USA. This choice will change you life and for a fraction of the high-priced ineffective ridiculousness stateside. My family is eternally grateful for Baja Rehab.💕💕💕

I went to Baja Rehab in 2022 and it was the greatest decision ive ever made in my life. I was born and raised in San Diego and ive been in and out of residential treatment programs since i turned 18. Im 31 now. I am extremely grateful for the Director of the program Adam Lincoln and his knowledge about my disease. When i was going through treatment programs in the states, i would just leave and get loaded when the going got tough but at Baja Rehab i wasnt going to get that opportunity. I desperately needed a lockdown facility in order for me to get enough clean time in order for the fog to clear. At first i was upset, but once i had some clarity i was MORE THAN grateful!! This program offers the BEST food ive had in a treatment facility, the staff was very warm and inviting giving me the one on one time i needed to get through the issues i was facing. The views are incredible too. Coupled with the extraordinary serenity, the fundamental therapy time, and the teachings of a 12 step program i am happy to say that im coming up on 6 months of sobriety! I just want to say Thank you to Baja Rehab and show my gratitude by giving my honest review in hopes that someone else struggling can be saved. This program is second to none and i hope that whoever reads this can get just as much out of this program as i did.

I do not have enough kind, caring and professional words to describe my Drug and Alcohol and Detox, 92 day Inpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Stay and post discharge 30 day Outpatient Program at Baja Rehab, and now the continued biweekly therapy on Facetime video. The professional and very knowledgeable staff and kind staff saved my life, restored me to sanity and has reunited me with my loved ones. At the top of this list is my adult children and brother whom I love very much, and almost lost during my active addictions due to my behaviors. I am grateful for them checking me into Baja Rehab. I am a newly retired nurse- August 2021 from Kaiser Permanente X 25 years. I was very very sick in my for years in my addictions. If you are serious about helping save a loved one's life and are in need of top notch Addiction Care no matter what the drug or dual diagnosis I would be more than happy to answer any questions about my experience, care and treatment-please reach out to Baja Rehab Staff for my phone number. Peace be with you.

I was a patient at this amazing facility for 2 months, and it was truly a life-changing experience.

Before coming to Baja Rehab, I was struggling with alcohol addiction, and my life was spiraling out of control. I knew I needed help, and that's when I found Baja Rehab. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in good hands.

The staff at Baja Rehab was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. They helped me understand the root causes of my addiction and gave me the tools I needed to overcome it. I learned so much about myself and my addiction during my stay at Baja Rehab, and I am forever grateful for that.

The facility itself was amazing. It was a lockdown facility, which helped me stay focused on my recovery without any distractions. The accommodations were comfortable, and the food was freshly made and delicious. The activities and therapy sessions were well-structured, and they kept me engaged throughout my stay.

But what really made the difference at Baja Rehab was the people. I made some real friends during my time there, and we supported each other throughout our recovery journey. We laughed, cried, and celebrated our victories together. The sense of community and support at Baja Rehab was truly inspiring.

Today, I am happy to say that I am still sober a year later, and I am in recovery. Baja Rehab gave me a second chance at life, and I am forever grateful for that. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling with addiction and looking for a safe and supportive environment to begin their journey to recovery. Thank you, Baja Rehab, for everything you did for me.

I had the opportunity to tour this facility and I must say this place is amazing. The leadership at Baja Rehab understands the desperate need for the niche type of rehab and have executed it flawlessly. If you have a loved one in need do not hesitate to call them. I truly believe this place gives your loved one a real chance at change!

Very grateful for the care and support a family member received when it was needed the most. Tried 2 other so called “luxury rehabs” and nothing worked. Baja Rehab and the amazing team there made a huge difference with our family member’s recovery. Also, communication with us in every step of the process was very much appreciated.
