I've had the fortune to eat at both up-scale and modest restaurants around the world - including France and Italy. This restaurant has been the only one - thus far - that I found everything served on my table was extraordinary and delicious - even the hand-made bread spread!

*** I highly recommend this restaurant.

P.S. I even came back the next morning to have breakfast and it did not disappoint.

This is one of the best restaurants we have dined at in Mexico. Wonderful garden patio setting, very attentive service, and great food. Nice soft jazz in the background. It is named in honor of Maximilian’s mistress and was the weekend home of Ambassador William Morrow, c1928-31. His daughter married Charles Lindbergh, so there is another historic connection that makes the house interesting.
Open for lunch til 6pm. Don’t miss this place.

Anna was fantastic! Excellent suggestions, excellent service! Every dish was delicious, the guacamole was so tasty and the chicharrón was fresh and crispy. The green juice and the cocktails were awesome. We had a gin and tonic and a mojito.

We had an amazing lunch here. We sat in the garden area which is just beautiful and relaxing. I had grilled bass, super fresh and buttery. Attentive staff but let us enjoy our time. Highly recommended.

Nice service, nice food, nice place and the Tamal de chocolate is a must for dessert!

We enjoyed our soups (sopa de carne and tortilla soup) and main dishes - the cecina was delicious. There are many nooks to sit and enjoy the garden, bar or fountain from while listens to the birds.

This was the best meal we had in Cuernavaca. It was so good we went back twice! Beautiful garden seating in a backyard, and a very friendly staff who did a wonderful job. The food was outstanding traditional Mexican food, and the prices were reasonable. Really enjoyed this place 10/10

I don't have knowledge of the services they provide bon weekdays, but I had a great experience regarding my visit on a Sunday. They offered a buffet service, with delicious food and great atmosphere. It's a traditional place were you can taste part of Cuernavaca's flavorful cuisine. I had some minor details with the staff, but it was resolved just by mentioning the problem to them. A great place to enjoy a Mexican breakfast.

What a setting! Large sitting area. An established garden with fountain is a relaxing feature. Very nicely decorated Nice bar. Every Sunday is a buffet. Highly recommended.

A beautiful historic setting in a converted estate. Read the history of the place on the menu. Good food and great service. Take time to enjoy the grounds and make the climb up the stairs to the patio for a view of the city. Not the best view of Cuerna but an interesting perspective of the diversity and dichotomy that is our city. Definitely worth the time if you are in town.

It's always a must when my friends and I are in town. Food and choices of are always very good. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful !! We have taken many friends and guests here over the years and they all have returned when they are in the area too. If you leave hungry it's your fault.
