What an amazing restaurant. Lots of family history, hard work and love went into the creation of this restaurant. It's definitely a must see. It's only 30 minutes from Mazatlan in the town of El Quelite. Great service and great Food. Oh and family friendly animals.

Amazing place to visit while you are in the Mazatlan area. History galore, a small museum that is a very famous restaurant. A very unique environment and amazing atmosphere. From the moment you approach the entry as you make your way inside all the old artifacts, history and photos. Instantly greeted by the friendly servers. The food was amazing. The food is full of flavor and portions were perfect. Been here many times over the years and they never disappoint!

We had a great lunch at El Meson De Los Laureanos. The most famous restaurant in El Quelite for tipical rural Sinaloense cuisine. I had the leguna en salsa verde and costillas de puerco en chili colorado. Both were super tender. The local cheeses and chorreadas are really tasty. Worth the 40 minute drive from Mazatlan. The restaurant is beautiful.

Great old Mexico atmosphere.
The town it self is still as original as can be. Eating here is as true and real as it gets when it comes to real Mexican food.
Service was great, even though the waitress looked a little stressed out.
There was 12 of us in a group maybe that's why.
If you can wondered inland in Mazatlan this is a good trip to take

Ok wow. This is something you have to see to believe. By far, the most interesting and scenic restaurant I have been to. The food also came very fast compared to anywhere else in Maz. You will be pleasantly surprised when you walk in for the first time...it's not at all what anyone would expect. It looks like a small, packed establishment from the outside but be prepared to be shocked . Also, lots of amazing, colorful artwork, roosters yelling and running through restaurant is simply awesome . The food is SO tasty and very fresh. They give you lots of complimentary stuff as well . The dishes they serve the food in just add to the experience and make it taste even better. Amazing service . This is a MUST visit when in El Quelite or in Mazatlan .

Walking in to this awesome spot is like walking back in time. The food was so good I personally ate my plate and my wife's. If you a coffee lover like me then the Cafe de Olla you must try it! You can add creamer and sugar to your liking but alone taste great. Now the selection of food is great but you must try la coming tipica that in other spots you can't have. And once you meal is done you get some of my NEW personal deserts which I tried all!! And they are a must! So leave room for desert if possible le or do it like me and sacrifice a cheat meal day!!

Excellent food, service just perfect they treat you like in home, make a warm atmosphere. Music is very traditional, sinaloa bands playing. It is like a movie place. Love the olla coffee, don’t even forget to ask for one of those, they are the best. Please invest your time going to this place and enjoying the traditional food that they offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here. The town is quaint, the foods great and the service was fast and attentive. A visit includes a lot of extra entrees and desert in addition to what you order. If the owner is around he is good for a story and a yarn, the place is a good act and deserved of it's strong reputation.

We got a car and driver to take us here and the restaurant provided him lunch for free. Well worth the trip if you are visiting Mazatlan.

Love this place. 10 stars. There is is lots of history in this place. It's like walking inside a museum with many interesting things. From vintage appliances, old pictures, unique decorations and having an inviting atmosphere. As you walk into the restaurant there are many seating tables on the first floor and the Terasa (upper floor). Walk around and continue to enjoy all the wall art, decorations, and water features and find your own seat. As soon as you find the seat you like you're greeted by the friendly servers. The food was amazing. Tried the beef tongue, beef birria, and carne asada. All the food was full of flavor and portions were the right size. I was impressed how the owner walked around the restaurant and talked the guest and made sure we were happy. Nice touch and greatly appreciated. Gracias Senor Marcos y toda su familia por atendernos y darnos buenos recuerdos.

Authentic, fresh,, delicious Mexican food! They bring you a lot of appetizers like home made cheeses, salsas and gordita de nata. And after meal they bring pudding with pineapple and trees leches!!! Restaurant atmosphere is bringing you to village hacienda time! El Quelite village is 45 minutes to drive from Mazatlan! I recommend to take private cab there. You can negotiate price around 800 to 1000 pesos round trip and driver will wait for you!
