Los Ahuehuetes

It is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. There were some people drinking to excess and causing some issues but it didn't bother our experience. It's definitely worth a visit. The place is definitely an oasis.

This is a beautiful place. It's all about nature. I recommend not wearing sunscreen if you're swimming in the cenote since water gets extremely cloudy. Something to keep in mind, reception at this place is terrible, be aware of that. You can bring your own grill and your own food, inside the park they can rent you a table and chairs, however, it's not that necessary, seating in the grass is not that uncomfortable. Some food stands can be found too, availability may depend on dates. There are some slides too and the pools are filled with the same water that flows through the cenote.

English: this is one of the most beautiful places you will ever have the privilege of visiting. Some of the trees have a diameter of more than 5m and have been there since before the Spanish arrived. You can feel the spirit of the place the moment you arrive... it has its own life force beyond our own. Beyond that, it is a beautiful place to come to enjoy a wonderful bathing and dining experience with the whole family. Most people don't speak English, but a few do, and all are welcoming and all are happy that you decided to come. The place belongs to the local ejido, and they care for it well. I speak spanish well and have been coming to this area for 20 years, but only found this place six weeks ago. (I've since come twice with friends and family). I love it here, more than you can imagine. And a part of me does not want to share it with you... it's mine. But the people here, they need that you visit this beautiful place. Come.
