Almanegra Café

Got the Gibraltar and the Latte. Was one of the best coffees we've had in Mexico city really. Service was nice, they spoke English, recommended what I should try. And they were so attentive that when they saw I was reading a book, they reduced the volume of music. The ambience is okay, the bar for ambience in Mexico city cafes is quite high ;) Would return!

Had a great flat white with coffee beans sourced ethically from Oaxaca. I bought a bag of the same beans to take home to the US. I love that they provide detailed information about where the beans come from, who grew them and when they were roasted. The almond croissant was also one of the best I've ever had.

Nice place. Good coffee and different preparation methods. Place is rather small, there’s no sign on the front, but you can tell you have arrived when you see the, usually, busy tables on the sidewalk.

Excellent coffee with cacao infusions also available. It’s a small chain, but it doesn’t feel like it. The best coffee I know of in the city. Really friendly staff and wifi too.

Wonderful coffee and great baristas. Tried a Michoacán natural in espresso cortado, was lovely. Happy to find a specialty coffee shop serving single origin instead of house blend. Beautiful custom La Marzocco GS3.

Coffee is excellent. Probably the best in the city. Been coming here for years when Im in town. Always great coffee. They really know what they are doing. I also always buy the beans to take home.

Quality specialty coffee shop. Local roaster featuring exceptional Mexican coffee. Baristas were super friendly and knowledgeable. Chill atmosphere. Full espresso bar, filter coffee, and pour over options. Recommend 10/10.

Looking for speciality coffee? Well, this is a good place. I really liked the americano, but the espresso was just ok, nothing amazing. I was expecting more. It's one of the few coffee shops where you can buy accessories, kettles, grinders, etc.

Friendly, knowledgeable baristas, and fantastic filter coffees at more reasonable prices than we have paid at other specialty coffee shops in Mexico City. Delicious pastries too! The music is a bit too loud inside the cafe, but the street is very quiet and there is outdoor seating.

Great coffee and service. They enthusiastically showed us the guest blend and explained how the Day Coffee is made. The coffee was delicious.

Nice small coffee shop in Roma Norte. The coffee shop has a very nice minimal design. Stopped in to have a cappuccino and it was very good. There are a few tables inside and 2 tables outside. If your in the area come check them out

Cool spot for a coffee in Roma district. We had a smooth flat white and a great espresso. I didn’t like the Americano as it was too watery, but I think that’s more to do with the way it’s pulled in this part of the world. The other two coffees show the guys here know what they’re doing. Go

Great coffee and excellent service. The staff took their time to explain about their coffee and even gave us a small taste of their cold brew. Love when I find places like this. A must go when in Mexico City and love speciality coffee.

Great spot for specialty coffee. They have clean milk pitchers and steam wands unlike other spots in the area.

Flat white was one of the best I’ve ever had!

The coffee was amazing. We had our Spanish class here for 3 hours. Everyone of us from usa mexico russia germany india loved it. The boy working there is super friendly and nice. Good music ambience customers with dogs and Internet. What else you need?

Discovered from Drift Mag and stopped by when they first opened in the morning. I had their first pour over that day and it was amazing. They turned on the music (Moonlight by XXXten 👌🏻) and I got to watch the usuals stop in on their way to work. Small and without much natural light or windows but still a good cup.

One of my favorites in the neighborhood. High quality coffee, baristas that know what they're doing, and great service.
