Incredible food and ambiance at this place!!!
Absolutely loved their traditional flavors, yet beautiful and sophisticated presentation.
We tried different dishes, but the highlight for me were the mole Chilaquiles, those were amazing! The vegan chocolate pudding/tart was out of this world too!
Their hot chocolate is delicious and their variety of tea was outstanding as well.
Also, for those of you who like to do a little shopping, there's a beautiful clothing and jewelry shop at the place.
Show up early and/or with enough time, as it gets super busy.

Tetetlan is a gem that you will find in the south of Mexico City. It offers Mexican haute cuisine with a lot of style, authentic flavours, great service, exclusive ambiance. I went to have a dinner celebration with good friends and we had great time. I truly recommend this place when you are around the famous Pedregal area.

One of the most gorgeous restaurants I’ve ever been to. The exposed rock and glass floor are so unique. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Everything was plated beautifully. Highly recommend!

Nested in a quiet neighborhood, Tetetlan stands out by the quaint atmosphere, glass floor and wall made of pedegral (volcanic rocks).
High price point that proposed delicate dishes. Attentive serving staff.

Very creative Mexican dishes. Worth visiting. I especially liked esquites, huitlacoche and taco de setas. Tetela ahogada was a bit salty and bitter to me. Taco de 🍄 was very tasty.

I would go back to Mexico City just for this restaurant. When we were first there, in 2019, we also enjoyed a private tour of the attached home of the restauranteur. I would have loved to take a yoga class there also. So many cool community spaces.I hope that all is well there in this Covid area.

Super delicious vegetarian options and one of the most unique spaces we ate in. Very flavorful and fresh dishes, and nice cocktails. Service took a while to get started and to settle up, but a small thing in comparison to the experience overall. Look for the disco ball under the glass floor!

This is a great place to eat, wherever you find yourself in the food spectrum, you will be able to find something very nice and tasty to eat!!
They follow on the Social Distancing protocols as well as the sanitation ones.

The place is absolutely lovely, the atmosphere is nice, friendly and quite welcoming. The design is modern, surprising and gorgeous. Great place to go for a meal, whether you are a morning person or a child of the night. Also, if you wish only to enjoy a cuppa, a coffee, a smoothie along side of a good book.

You may also be able to find something to read here, something to buy, and some bites to take home. Part of the earnings go to a charity and the quality is great!!

In my opinion the pricing might seem like much at first (specially for the drinks) good wise, you do get what you pay for, with fair amounts and a great taste!!

Had an amazing experience here. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Loved their mezcal selection - possibly the best selection of mezcals I've seen anywhere. Everything on the menu looks great - was hard to pick lol. Also there's a lot to explore within the space. Loved the glass flooring that exposes the volcanic rocks below.

Worth a visit! Such a beautiful building full of books about art, architecture, and culture. It's definitely an experience to walk on the glass floor and see the rocks under... Plus the food and cocktails were delicous 👌🏼

This place, its mission, founder and people are all beautiful. Make sure to book a tour of the Barragan- designed casa nextdoor. Casa Pedregal respects the volcanic lava grounds it is built on, and manipulates light and shadow masterfully, a skill Barragan is known for. Tetetlan, the restaurant itself, covers the lava with glass floors inspired by Barragan, giving this place a very unique feel. The menu includes mostly authentic Mexican ingredients including ants and chapulines. There is a gift shop of artisanal Mexican textile fashion and jewelry. Upstairs is a yoga studio/co-working space type library, and they have wifi. The neighborhood itself is very pretty and worthwhile to walk around and get lost among well designed casas. I could write books about how inspiring this whole day was. Must visit while in cdmx.

The absolute best meal I had in CDMX. Worth the visit. The drinks, food, and location were amazing.

Overall experience was great. The food and service were both excellent but the space set it apart. The menu is quite large and broken down into several categories. Definitely something for everyone. Tons of vegetarian and seafood options as well as traditional main courses. A nice theme of traditional Mexican flavors throughout but it doesn’t dominate. Good selection of natural and traditional wines and a large list by glass. Mezcal cart! Dessert and digestif cart! This place has the details nailed. Worth the trip out of the typical neighborhoods most tourists visit. Horacio was so helpful as our server and helped us have a memorable meal. This space also has a small gallery space with rotating art, small boutiques for many items like clothing, mezcal, crafts and a lounge area with a library and a coffee shop with pastries and fresh pressed juices.

What an amazing place. The architecture and interiors are breathtaking. The food is probably some of the best I had in Mexico City.

He food was fantastic and the ambiance and service was first class. Cannot recommend this place enough. A must visit for Mexico City
