Cambalache Polanco

We absolutely loved our meals here. From the incredible service to the quality beef, this was our favorite dinner in Mexico City. We sat upstairs on the top floor in a beautiful setting. I recommend trying the skirt steak, ribeye, creamed spinach and delicious mashed potatoes. We had a wonderful time here because of the incredible service. The skirt steak was the star of the show.

Fantastic service, great atmosphere. 3 levels bright airy, nice green wall. THE best dessert. Highly recommended the Flambé crepes!!! They make it all right at the table 👀

Really amazing steakhouse with lots of food options. Caprese salad is amazing and the arrachera tacos are to die for!

Great atmosphere. Large open spaced restaurant. Modern and chic. Service was good and food as well. Yes it's going to be pricey but worth it. Meats were excellent as well as side dishes. Also located in the trendy part of Polanco. Also it was a pleasure to walk around the area.

tried the salmon carpaccio, prime burger, and cheesecake. i think the menu is slightly different than in photos here; there might be 2 burgers? and only regular fries now? i asked about the papas souffle and they brought me some to try. interesting and different, preferred them to their regular fries. cool environment. the burger was pretty solid; the cheesecake, especially all the rest, would have been best split with someone else so i could avoid getting fat; but hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Just had one of the best meals of my life here! The steak is phenomenal along with the explosive tastes in the salad and mixed vegetables! Paired with the perfect Malbec! This place is a treasure and rivals the food I had in Italy for freshness and taste!

Loved the rib eye Cambalache! Prepared tableside and at two different temperatures to our liking. The grilled vegetables were delicious! Mashed potatoes and french fries rounded out our meal. The waitstaff is completely attentive and is happy to help in any way. Will definitely return.

We had a fantastic time at Cambalache while touring Mexico City. The ambiance was great, furthermore my son lost his wallet and I called next day and Captain Esteban Lopez did everything he could to help us find it. We truly enjoyed our time at the restaurant and loved the amazing help they provided.

Que rico! Sat on the terrace and had amazing service from an older gentleman. He was really friendly and gave amazing recommendations. The ribeye was amazing and finished table side.

Best steak I’ve had in ages. Exceptional staff and professional service. The food was hearty and reasonably priced, plus good wine list. Highly recommended.

I wanted to eat good meat, which anyway is very good in Mexico, and the hotel concierge recommended the Cambalache restaurant.

It is located at the popular Masaryk street in Polanco having 2 floors of an old house, is an Argentinean grill. The menu is a large poster that is brought to the table (see image). The meat is excellent, they bring it from Omaha-Nebraska (which is known as the place of prime beaf). Once the meat arrives to Mexico is dry aged for 20 days.

I had the typical Argentinean Vacio, which I hadn’t tasted a beaf as good as this one in a long time.

Service is excellent, I just raised my eyes and had two waiter in a second in front of my table.

Excellent service, professional waiters, finally a place where the waiters can speak english to tourists and foreign business men. Great food. Awesome Irish coffee, prepared at your table.

Pretty decent Argentinian grill. A bit pricy but both food and service are good.

Awesome place! The restaurant is very cozy but at the same time not too formal. The meat was very tasty.

This was just a great experience from start to finish. So much better in every way that the Prime Streak Club. We started with the watermelon jamaica margarita, which was very refreshing. Then we had the mixed salad, which had such a fresh light dressing of just olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper. We also had the jugo de carne soup which was also just full of that dense umami saltiness of beef broth. Finally we had the rib eye. it’s just a beautiful cut and seasoned perfectly. The creamed spinach was also a highlight, so much cheesy goodness (and not much cream). We just had no room for desert so would love to come back and try something. They have an alfajor that looks as much like a cake as a cookie so am excited to try.

Great Argentinian streak restaurant in Polanco. One of the best I’ve visited in Mexico City. The service was great, the table was great, the food was amazing. Pricey but worth it. I’ll 100% be going back

Amazing service, the food was delicious. Highly recommend the "Asado Cambalache" as well as the wines from their own winery in Argentina. The staff were all very nice and polite. Overall wonderful experience

Pretty good Argentinian parilla. The food and wine selection were great. I loved the provoleta, and it reminded me of when I lived in Buenos Aires. The wine from Mendoza was excellent. It made me miss Argentina a lot!
