Great service. The ambience in this restaurant, the service, the quality of the food, the attitude of the personnel, all of them are top notch. This is a great spot for special occasions and carefully crafted experiences, special group dinner or a nice dating experience. It has private rooms that can be booked for groups. There's even a piano and small lounge available in at least one of them.
The entrance is on the back of the building, so it's a good idea to try to avoid Av. Periférico as much as possible to get there (because of the traffic). Highly recommended for a wonderful experience.

This place is one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been, the English cottage style and delicious food will transport you, it is pricey but your money is well spent, service is great

Since I arrived to Mexico City, I always wanted to go and try this.
The restaurant from the outside it’s a typical English building and it reminds me a lot of my dear Old Continent (I’m Italian and when I was living in Milan, I used to go a lot to London).
I couldn’t know that once you get inside you get a view of an amazing garden where you can sit on a bench and have a break from the chaotic Mexico City.
Inside, this building is simply beautiful, you step in and it seems that you go straight from Mexico to a classical UK house.
The staff is a super nice and they were super fast to find a table for me and my husband and we were served right away from one of the highest well mannered staff I’ve seen in Mexico.
It’s a family business, it’s being managed and owned by the same family since almost 50 years and they are lovely.
Their full dedication to the Sir Winston Churchill is easy to see.
The food was really good, and well presented.
They count with valet parking so feel free to come by with your car.
The place is walking distance from Polanco’s main avenue Masaryk, so give it a chance and you won’t regret it.

A must see and must eat in Mex City! Best steak ever. Interior is super atmospheric, you'll feel like in 20's :)

What you can say about this restaurant? It is a must of Mexico City. They serve mostly English/French food. What you don’t want to miss are the classics, the beef Wellington and the Kafka dessert. Pricy? Yes, but it’s worthy. It became one of your favorites after eating there.

It's a great place to visit, the menu is very wide, with English specialities, great meat, very English ambient, it is for especial events 100 recommended. good wines, good people, good service, good everything.

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. If you like old school fine dining this is the place to go.

The service is incredible, from start to finish our waiter was amazing. Ready with suggestions and prompt to get you another drink.

It does live up to the hype. A great place for a date or special occasion. I really like that the place is many many smaller rooms. It never feels crowded or cramped. The service is attentive but could at times be more observant.

The price is absolutely reasonable with a median of around 450MXN for mains. I was expecting to be more expensive after reading other reviews. Well worth the price for the entire experience.

I would give them 4.5 stars but I was told that .5 goes up... The food is super tasty, the service is very good, the place is nice, the music goes very smooth in a well balanced volume for you to have a nice conversation. Why the .5 less? Well, we felt that it was a little too pricey for what we ordered, the wellington, that in this place is a must, was over-cooked a little and very moisty, the salmon mousse was a bit little, the roast beef was amazing and the cheesecake dessert was normal. Even though, you should give them a chance if you haven't been there and try to find yourselves if it's a 5 star or not.

It is a classy place with very delicious food. The atmosphere is reminiscent of San Angel Inn but of the British calibre. Polite, friendly and professional waiters and service. Not to forget the beautiful and romantic piano music being played by a recording artist, Emmanuel Coss. It isn't a cheap place but you don't leave regretting your expenditure.

Let's be honest, there is a reason this restaurant has been there for so long, it is always packed and constantly within the first places in overall quality in restaurants in the city. Food is simply fantastic. It is very pricy, but worth the money if going on a special occasion. Ordering the beef Wellington is a no brainer

This must be the best English restaurant in Mexico city. When I have Heard that I could have a nice English restaurant, I could not believe that. But as soon as I arrived the restaurant, the atmosphere, the smell of the food and the building itself made me feel comfortable and I was well served.
I can surely recommend this restaurant when you would have a special meal with the very important people.

Ambiance is top notch...amazing for drinks in the sense you can find ANY drink you´re looking for, from Japanese whiskey to Guatemalan rum. Food is amazing too, I highly recommend the Beef Wellington. Place is huge and beautiful both in the outside gardens where you can have a drink and on the wood-clad interior where you can have dinner. Five stars all around for this antique house and restaurant.

My favorite restaurant in Mexico, great ambiance, service and most importantly food. About as pricey as any other top restaurant but with a nicer more traditional "vibe", luxurious without being pretentious like many other top places here (this is a British style place)

You want real deal Prime roastbeef? This is the place. The horseradish is not as strong as one would expect but it's good enough. Great service. The building is very well kept.

This restaurant has been around for ages, the place is beautiful, full of history, and everything is cooked to perfectly. The garden is just amazing, the restaurant is English style, very formal and elegant! Food is very good, good oysters, the fish veronique is amazing, the rib eye is outstanding along with their desserts.

Is certainly a great place in every respect. Food is excellent, service is incredible and the place is a treasure. Hope to return soon. However i read they were going to close, hope is not true.

Simply delicious and fantastic service. The place is outstanding and the piano music is lovely. It's one of my favorite spots.
