Great museum and free admission. There are four floors, accessable via stairs and lift.
A coin of 5 pesos is required for the lockers, which is returned after use. This is on the basement level with a small room that currently contains 2 paintings and sketches.
There is a gift shop and cafe on the ground floor and an old fashion telephone featuring dial a poem.
Then the first floor and the top floor contain the main exhibits.
There is also a terrace/balcony with a couple of pieces of art and a nice view of the soumaya museum.
The building is architecturally a very cool design, and there is a Lego model of the building in the entrance to the gift shop.
Outside, there is a waterfall structure and places to sit.
I would visit again to see other temporary exhibits.

Never a dull moment at the museum. Entry is free and there are regular rotations of the exhibitions. The staff are also super helpful and there are lockers downstairs to store your stuff (be sure to have some coins though). There is also a restaurant on site and one of the floors offers stunning views of the Soumaya Museum and glass-clad edifices in panorama.

Incredible museum in the middle of the city. Free admission- which we have found that most of the museums in the city are. They have rotating exhibits (as most museums do) and it did not disappoint. The building itself is well organized and an easy flow to walk thru to see the exhibits. The attendants are nice and polite and they have a nice gift shop and are to grab coffee etc at the beginning/end of the visit.

One of the best museums in the city! Houses some of the most intriguing artists and pieces. It's situated right across Museo Soumaya but make sure you try and go on a weekday because weekend wait lines can go as long as an hour.

This free museum is a delight to the senses. There were four floors of exhibitions you start at the top and work ur way down, spiraling through a different artist on each floor. I feel in love with a new artist there and loved exploring work across the decades and across medium La as well. This is a must visit especially to take photos with the big sculpture out front . They have a really cute gift shop as well

A well curated museum with interesting and challenging modern art. Admission is free. There are long lines. However, if you are older, you are given preference for quicker access.

The Museum of Modern Art is a must-see when visiting Mexico City. Various exhibitions are held every season, and although it varies depending on the exhibition, many are free. It is a three-story space and has many very interesting exhibitions.

Very beautiful scenery for pictures and wow moments. The personnel here are very friendly and make an effort to help in English even when it's difficult for them. Lots of people sit out here to chill and just do whatever they want. There are some police presences to make you feel safer

We absolutely loved the latest exhibit here. The museum is the perfect size to be able to visit within an hour or two, or for lingering a bit longer if you’d like. It’s great to combine with a quicker visit to the somaya, the aquarium or shopping at antara.

With four levels of contemporary art exhibition, you are bound to be fascinated by something. Be it the calming effect of photos, displays that call for environmental prudence, or the adrenaline rush of chasing a tornado and actually catching it! Certainly worth a visit for memories that will stay with you for a long time. All art descriptions were in both Spanish and English.

Went to see the Swiss artist, Urs Fischer’s exhibit. There were a few pieces that were amazing and not to be missed. Don’t forget the exhibit on the ground floor. Very Instagram worthy. The museum had a nice but pricey cafe. Also you can see a great view of the Museo Soumaya.

Museo Jumex was great! My wife, toddler and I enjoyed the art pieces in each of the 3 floors. It's relatively small, yet full of abstract art that really does make you pause and admire. Staff there is friendly yet strict as they should be (seeing as this is a museum) there was a large tourist party of about 12+ people and it seems they were rushing through each floor and getting in the way at times, but other than that we loved it! Plus admission was also free.

Beautiful place and quite well organized. One thing to note is that they have a part with explicit (sexual) content at the third floor and even though they warn you about it there is nothing to cover the little one’s wandering eyes from seeing the five pieces that aren't really appropriate for them. Besides that? One of the best galleries I have seen!

Amazing contemporary art museum, entry was free when I visited on Sunday. Great exhibition and space. Building is beautiful and has a great viewing point of Soumaya on upper floor. So far my favourite art museum in CDMX!

There are a few exhibitions in this museum (free entry). To go up the elevators, you enter between the gift shop and the cafe. Several photography exhibitions are on display, and I liked the room with a video about tornadoes. Make sure to go on the balcony to get a nice view of Museo Soumaya and the square.
