We stayed in this beautiful sleepy village for 4 days this summer and we were welcomed with open arms and heart by the people that care, live and support this incredible land. While staying in the cabins on the hill we ate 3 meals a day here and walked down and up the hill for each of them. the food was simple but thoughtful, made with care and attention to detail.

The family was joyful and so delightful, very accommodating with dietary restrictions or preferences in our group. Nestled in the center of town and with views of the mountains and wildlife- if you are close by and able to visit, it is so beyond magical.

Very traditional fresh healthy food. With ingredients grown locally or on premises. We will never forget our time spent here.

Very healthy traditional food right next to the church. Wonderful setting. Hard to teach but they have amazingly designed rustic and super comfortable cabins higher up on the hill.

Absolutely first rate! We looked forward to every meal here. The food is delicious and the owner (and children) are sweet and helpful. Of the six meals we ate here four were vegetarian but still satisfying and delicious. Dinners ran about $90 per person which felt absolutely reasonable for the quality of food we were served.

Small restaurant right next to church. Amazing treehouse and playground made of old wooden toys. Menu had only two options - beef or chicken. But good food. Very clean. Free WiFi!

Nicely located on the courtyard of the inpressive church. Very friendly staff and the food was just awesome. Didn't expect this in a remote place like Lachatao.

Excelente lugar para comer y disfrutar la bella vista desde lo alto de lachatao, es uno de los lugares más bellos de la sierra Juárez, las personas que atienden el comedor son muy amigables y cocinan muy rico, los precios son justos y bien servidos. Sin duda volveré.

Un lugar con una vista impresionante desde ahí se puede ver Capulalpam de Mendez, Ixtlán, y Amatlán que es la comunidad contigua a Lachatao que es la comunidad en donde se ubica el restaurante

Cenamos súper sabroso, fresco y a excelente precio. Tenían un mezcal local delicioso. Además lo que ofrecen de cabañas es bastante bueno

En definitiva un lugar hermoso. Si buscas paz, conectarte contigo mismo, disfrutar de una vista impresionante, este es el lugar adecuado. La gente es cálida, amable, respetuosa con la naturaleza y puedes hospedarte en una de sus cabañas sumamente acogedoras.

Deliciosa comida tradicional oaxaqueña, hermosas vistas! Un bello lugar para disfrutar de Tranquilidad y la cordialidad de los habitantes del lugar.

Todo delicioso, siempre tienen tres o cuatro opciones de comida. La vista es increíble en la parte alta del restaurante, lo mismo afuera del restaurante. Son muy amables y la comida es a muy buen precio.

Un lugar cerca del cielo. Lo mejor para alejarse de la cotidianidad de la vida. Un pueblito limpio, tranquilo, con una vista increíble de las montañas de la Sierra Juarez de Oaxaca.

Pueblos Mancomunados de Oaxaca, una gran experiencia altamente reco.endable por sus bellezas naturales, buena organizacion y servicios de primera. Lo mejor, su gente.
