Exceptional!

We came to El Patio 77 for our honeymoon and could not have been better looked after. I think it may have been the best place we have ever stayed on a holiday. Warm, excellently designed and homely rooms. great location, great food.

I cannot fault El Patio at all!

A special shout out goes to the staff who gave fantastic recommendations and went out of their way to be warm, friendly, and genuinely made us feel like friends. Also Bonito the dog is a delight.

I doubt I will stay anywhere that was as special as EL Patio 77 again... So that means I'll have to come back!

El patio 77 was such an amazing place to spend our vacation. The staff was incredible, the breakfast was amazing and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet Bonito the dog during your stay. Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcomed. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast for your stay!

ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL - El Patio 77 is so special. The moment you step inside it’s like being transported to a secret garden. You can see that the owners put so much love into the property and take a lot of pride in it. We stayed in the Oaxaca room which was huge and very comfortable, some road noise during the day but very quiet at night. The neighborhood felt very safe and provided easy access by Uber to everywhere we wanted to go. The daily breakfasts were delicious and service was wonderful. Highly highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

I ended up staying here for one night after the Airbnb I stayed in couldn’t extend my reservation. I’m happy I got to experience El Patio 77! I traveled solo and felt very safe in the neighborhood. The grounds are beautiful and my room was clean, cozy with a mini balcony. The kind staff was a highlight. They made me feel welcomed plus the pup Benito!

I would stay here again when I return to CDMX - and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality place and a unique experience.

Stayed 3 nights in the enormous Oaxaca bedroom. Room very quiet. Very pleasant and the manager and staff could not be more hospitable. Very helpful with ideas and directions. Very good breakfast with fruit yogurt and cooked. Taxi took 30 minutes from the airport. Highly recommended.

Incredible bed and breakfast. Beautiful building, great rooms, friendly innkeeper and staff, delicious breakfasts. It felt like a cozy and beautiful home in a great location in Mexico City. It felt warm, inviting, and safe. They do speak English there too!!

We stayed at Patio 77 for the first half of our honeymoon, and it was a delight! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. We felt so welcomed and taken care of! If you are sensitive to street noise, I recommend bringing a white noise machine (but this wasn’t a problem for us!). The entire building is dreamy and stylish.

El Patio is absolutely beautiful and the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The included breakfast is delicious as well.
The only surprise we had was our toilet was in the same (very large) room as the bed with only a small divider in between.

Beautiful, stylish hotel run by a lovely lady. We stayed for four nights on the first stop on our honeymoon and it was a great start to our trip.

Our room was lovely - very spacious with a super-comfy bed and big windows that opened out on to the street. There's a safe in the room and plenty of wardrobe space. Thr futniture across the hotel is nice mid-century stuff and it's very nicely lit, so it's got a cool atmosphere.

Breakfast each day was juice, coffee, yoghurt, granola and a (vegetarian) traditional Mexican dish which changed each day but was always delicious.

The manager Elvia was really nice and welcoming and gave us great tips on things to do. She was friendly and helpful but wasn't overbearing - an ideal host!

The neighbourhood is quiet and residential but very pleasant - we didn't end up eating/drinking locally but it was usually a 15/20 minute Uber to Condesa/Roma where we tended to find ourselves in the evenings. Things like the Zocalo and Chapultepec were also around a 15/20 min drive so it's a conveniently located hotel, although if you want to be more in the heart of the action maybe look elsewhere.

Great hotel and I'd dedinitely recommend it!

My wife and I had a 20 hour layover in Mexico City on our way back from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. This wasn't our first time in Mexico City so we knew the area we wanted to stay and this looked like an intriguing option. The property is beautiful, the staff are friendly, the room was great. We were close to the attractions and restaurants we wanted to check out. We will definitely consider stay here again on our next CDMX trip.

Beautiful and historic B & B in Mexico City. We stayed in the Chiapas, downstairs room. High ceilings, wood beams, comfortable bed, friendly staff. I would come back and stay again.
