The selection of the menu is huge and I was wondering how they master each section and ways of cooking .
Over all I like the surrounding and the freshness of the food , the service is also very on point , location is also another plus .

Generally I like the raw food over the cooked dishes . It’s not as good as some of the dishes , the yakitori is a little over cooked and chashu is too thinly slice , can’t get enough texture .

The raw dishes are amazing , the selection of the cut and crunchiness of the clams . I will come back more often and try other dishes to give it a complete review

Always come here for the best California rolls. My husband enjoys Chashu (tocino en salsa soya) a lot! Mango pudding is also refreshing and not that sweet. Te verde frío is so good!

Staff are friendly attentive and professional. Busy place with foreigners and locals in the evenings especially. The fish is fresh and well prepared.

Wow! My girlfriend who grew up in Japan says this is the most authentic food she has had outside of Japan! We had a spicy tuna roll, green salad, tonkatsu, gyoza, and strawberry cake! Do it!

Still amazing! Excellent sushi and overall asian food place. Located in Roma neighbourhood it is easy access from many areas within Mexico city.
The sushi rolls you can taste and feel how fresh they were, each roll held its ground with a unique flavor.
First and second floor give ample room for many patrons at a time and the staff are flawless and friendly.
Major price value and a variety of entrées.
A new favorite place of mine in Mexico city.

The service is spectacular, the food is wonderful and the desserts are to die for!

We ordered the spicy edamame, ramen soup, rainbow rolls and the spicy tuna rolls. For desserts I recommend the green tea mochi.

Also try to make a booking before going as it gets crowded.

Amazing ramen, gyoza and spicy tuna roll. It was such a cool experience, very traditional Japanese feeling with incredible service.

I think this is the best Japanese restaurant in Mexico City. We ordered sushi rolls, and they were terrific. I had goosebumps when I ate them because they had a beautiful balance of flavors. The dessert was also delicious! I would highly recommend this place.

I never thought I’d say I ate the best sushi of my life in México. Kura is such a nice Restaurant. All the dishes are so flavourful with lots of umami, the waiters are very friendly, the food. We came here two days in a row to try as much as we can from the menu and would def come again when in CDMX.

One of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life! Love the tuna, it’s so fresh! The fusion sushi is also well made. The salmon sashimi is also good! It’s hard to find a restaurant who serves the good quality fish every time!

Absolute LOVED this restaurant . Came close to closing so had to sit in their outdoor side area seating but it was away from the street which was nice. The food was so delicious and the menu was super impressive. Authentic flavors and really well executed Japanese food. The fish was some of the best I’ve had. The ramen was high quality. Our waiter was incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Will be coming back again when in town.

Delicious sushi and high quality fish. The tune toro is to die for. Get a sashimi of the day if you want different kinds of fish. Personally I think that deep fried onion is not the best topping for gentle fish, but you can just scrape it off. They have a funny tradition at the restaurant - they greet each customer yelling “welcome” in Japanese

Love this place! Food is great and the environment too. However it gets very busy at times, so it's preferable to get a reservation beforehand. The fish and seafood are in great conditions, it tastes very fresh. One of the few restaurants in Mexico city where I recommend to eat seafood! You can really taste the flavor of Japan in this restaurant!

Had an amazing dinner here al fresco. The service was great- attentive but not overbearing. The pork tonkatsu was good. The omakase was very fresh. The price is about ⅔ of US prices for a comparable meal. They also had Tamari for those that are gluten free. Also their menu was very extensive so there will be lots of choices for everyone in your party.

Best sushi I have had in Mexico City. I have been here 3 times so far and have yet to be disappointed.

Food is excellent, especially the sushi rolls. I can’t speak to the authenticity of the food since I’ve never been to Japan but my girlfriend and I were both impressed with the quality of sushi and the amount of options on the menu.

Prices are reasonable and not too overpriced for the quality. A meal including 3 rolls of sushi and 2 beers cost us about 600 pesos ($32 USD).

Environment is loud because the place gets really busy but the ambiance and decoration are well thought it and add to the experience.

The best sushi we’ve ever had. Their sushi not only taste great but also looks like art. Super high value. It’s even better than what we had in Tokyo. The dessert is also amazing. Highly recommend! We came back to this place multiple times during our visit in Mexico City.

What a good surprise to have Japanese food in Mexico. I live in the States and visited Mexico for business for a long work week with the team from Japan. We were a bit tired of Mexican restaurants even though the tastes are really good so wanted to try Japanese food there. We didn’t have much expectation but it was surprisingly good!
