El Pinar del Chayán

Very nice place to visit. Amazing outdoor restaurant...its so relaxing, from the inside decor cabin like to the lagoon and forest tall trees. Food was good the priced are higher than other restaurant but basically you are paying for venue. Worth it. There's also mini kids playground. Perfect for pictured. And ice cream is served in the fruit itself.

The ambience is awesome! We had breakfast, which was fair, service was slow. But, they have a playground for kids, a lake, the garden is beautiful. A place where you can sit and talk and you don't have to rush.

Gorgeous place, with beautiful views. Service is great. Fast and friendly. Good is delicious and traditional. Highly recommend to unwind and enjoy a good time at the woods

Great delicious authentic Mexican food in my fathers home town of Tonila. So proud to have roots here, well at least ancestry. The food is great reasonably-priced. Authentic and nice portions. Agua de lemon with chia amazing. Tortillas were fresh and home made. Service is great, with a beautiful view of a lake. Walk it off with a stroll down the lake.

This place is a well hidden Jewel!!. Beautiful, relaxing setting, unique decor, menu for every taste, many tequila choices and all liquor types including beers and wines. I know my way around tequila and margaritas, and usually stick to basics to compare. This place was so unique, I ordered a mango margarita ( never had one before), it came out frozen (didn't expect that), tasted it and WOW, it was awesome. There were 4 of us, had appetizers, main course, drinks, everything. All top notch. This is the place to stop if you are traveling from Guadalajara south to Colima or past. You will love it.
