La Victoriana

I loved this cute little cafe! The coffee was perfection! And the food was great! But the whole place over all was amazing!

my boyfriend and i were in the area for around five days and came back here 3 times before we left. the grilled cheese and tomato soup was absolutely perfect for a stormy night. the pan frances hit the spot, and on our last visit they specially made me a slamming vegetarian sandwich. do yourself a favor and get the papas victoriana and ask for a side of the cilantro dressing. the staff were friendly and attentive and the coffee frappe’s were the cherry on top.

Went for dinner. The chicken enchiladas are excellent. Also had the cilantro fries, brownie for desert, and a cappuccino. The restaurant itself is in an old victorian mansion a few doors down from the governors palace. There is outdoor seating available. The only real complaint is that the chairs are VERY uncomfortable because they (attempt) match the age of the house and decor.

Excellent food! Fantastic presentation! Friendly & Attentive staff! Beautiful laid back atmosphere. Just a perfect place! Tea, coffee, breakfast. Need to go back for desserts (they look great). Highly recommended.

Great place, great prices, awesome dishes. Very good place located on a very beautiful old house. I wouldn't recommend coming with kids but I did and everything was ok.

Great little café/coffee shop on the Presa. Reasonable prices. Kind and efficient staff. Some speak English which is a plus. Once a home this place has a cool vibe. There is seating outside, inside, in the front, in the back. Explore! Let them know Goyo GTO said it’s GREAT!

Loved the vibes in this place, the food is delicious, the staff is super friendly, they try their best to please you and give you a nice experience.

This place is so beautiful! Great place to have a date. Every thing was so delicious, loved the pumpking cake.

One rainy afternoon, we went out driving to Presa de la Olla area, and while admiring many beautiful buildings on Paseo de la Presa, we saw a Porfirian period house, with some people sat on the terrace and coming in and out, so, we parked and came in.
Several restaurants and bars are in operation there, the house is magnificent.
La Victoriana Menu is incredible, but, since it was not lunch or dinner time, so we had coffee, tea, and cake slices, we tried Red Velvet, Carrot cake and red berries scone, portions are more than generous, service is very courteous and ambient inviting.
I totally recommend going there and just try it. Definitively, looking forward to go back there.

WOW!! WHAT A GEM! RIGHT DOWN TO THE FABULOUS EASY LISTENING MUSIC! !! Have enjoyed both breakfast and lunch, served both occasions by the lovely and efficient Andrea. Food aesthetics are perfection. Artisan bread for sandwiches. The finest hand cut and served hot French fries. Gourmet frappes, the pinnacle being a white chocolate mint. What fortune to have such an establishment in my neighborhood. The owner and staff deserve to be commended.

Really beautiful place. Charming house, nice garden and terraces, excellent food and drinks (coffee, tea, beers, wine, spirits). Nice presentations. Outstanding in Guanajuato. Not in the center of the city, but it really deserves a visit.

A truly wonderful place to sit and relax, watching people walk along La Presa. It's exactly what I look for in laid back brunch and coffee place: the coffee and food are amazing. (check out my photos to see how much care the baristas put in to their creations) The Postmodern Jukebox wafting through this beautiful Victorian building just add to the charm. We've been back twice this week and have fallen in love with it. Reminds me of similar cafes with the wonderful gardens in Siem Reap and Bangkok, it just has that vibe. Well done!

We had a great day celebrating the birthday of a friend today. Thanks so much for being so accommodating. The food and service were excellent!
