Levendaria Akumal

We've been using this launderia for the past 11 or 12 years. We really like the way they clean and fold our clothes. We always have our laundry done one last time before we head home so we can enjoy the aroma and say, "Ah, Akumal."

We just needed a couple more days of clean clothes and they were willing to charge us for just 1 kg of laundry for 45 pesos. Dropped off at 9:30 am and they said it would be ready by 4 pm and it was, indeed. We would have preferred unscented detergent, but we didn’t think to ask for that.

We had a great experience with dropping off a bunch of laundry we accumulated over our travels. They had it ready the next day. The only challenge we had is that they are not open over weekends, so we had to wait until Monday.

This laundry is the best. The ladies work so hard and charge very little. Only thing is the hours can be a bit random. Sometimes open, sometimes not. We use all the time. Highly recommend. Note everything is washed hot and dryer dried.

We went to this levenderia twice as it was only 10 minutes from where we staying. We're a family of 6, so quite a large bag of laundry both times. They weigh the laundry and then fresh, clean, folded laundry was available to pickup the next day for only 143 pesos- fantastic!

Very good service! Clothes clean and smelling hreat, gentle older couple own and run it. IMPORTANT INFO: if you drop off your clothes on friday,e sure you can pick them up before 4:00 PM saturday because they go on saturday to the church at 4 PM and don’t open again until monday, which might be very inconvenient if you plan to leave on Saturday evening of any time before monday at 7 am.

Clothes cleaned in 24hours (left and picked up at 10am). Asked for 2 sweaters to be line dried and they line dried everything. 30pesos for about 2kg.

Great little place ran by nice older family. Very reasonable prices. Drop off your clothes and pick them up clean and smelling great.
