La Capellina Restaurante

This was fine dining at a very reasonable price! We ordered the dorado fish and steak with potatoes gratin, both had amazing sauces and so tasty! Because we were so pleased with our entrees we tried the chocolate cake which was fantastic! We enjoyed an intimate experience in the back room where it was quieter. It was helpful that they spoke English and the menu is also in English. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Customer service at its best. We ordered a pizza and a pasta, everything was delicious, we asked for hot sauce which they didnt have, but they immediately told me they would make one for me right away, and they did! Everything was perfect . Thank you restaurant staff!! ♡

I thought the perfect pizza didn't exist till I got this place. Nice live music, amazing service from waitress and delicious food. I'll be back again on my next visit.

I had the pollo versalles, it was pretty good, not the greatest, but then again I’m eating a French dish in an Italian restaurant in Mexico! 😂 the service was great!

Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and ideal location. We had the molcajete de mariscos and the Geli pasta (similar to chicken alfredo). Both were great, would order again.

Loved the food. Live music Friday and Saturday nights.
The bread with sauce, and mixed with the mushroom and pasta dishes were excellent combo.

Amazing space, an old silver warehouse repurposed. Wait staff was excellent. Food was very good a bit less than stellar. The pizza was very good but pasta with duck was disappointing. It wasn't at all bad, but the duck was maybe minced and cooked in the sauce. I will give this place another run because I've a feeling there are good menu items here but I chose wrorngly.

The pizza was wonderful. Crust was super thin and crispy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal while dining with a group of friends. Atmosphere is most appealing and service is consistently good.
I enjoyed a duck and caramelised onion pizza. Thin and crispy crust which was perfection. On a previous visit I had the most divinely prepared fresh tuna steak over Asian vegetables in Asian influenced sauce. FANTASTIC! Service is unobtrusive and staff is well trained. A big plus for this establishment in all departments.

The best service, drinks and pizza in Guanajuato period. We ordered two pizzas, and a pasta dish to start with, we devoured that. We ordered two more pizzas, and devoured those. The best mojitos I have ever drank. Our drinks were never empty, they cleaned our table and re set our plates in between our orders.

Convenient to Jardin de la Union, Teatro Juarez, and many other local tourist destinations. The food is good. The wait staff is friendly. At least one waiter speaks English. Had the Empanada Bosca and Fettuccine La Copal. It was food that I had to not even think if it was good because it was delicious!! Would come again if I'm ever back!

Delicious food, beautifully prepared and presented, accompanied by excellent service. A real gem in the heart of Guanajuato’s historic district. Highly recommended.
