Restaurant Don Fernando

Restaurant Don Fernando offers a delightful experience with their pescado sarandeado, one of the best fishes I've ever tasted. Their ceviche is equally impressive. The family-run establishment provides excellent service, though be prepared for a wait as the fish takes 1.5 hr to cook (call ahead). Free parking on side streets is a plus.

Everything was fresh and perfect, if you don't get there when they open at 1 you will definitely need a reservation. Thank you!

I drove 50 minutes to come here and get the wholefish. I was not disappointed. The food here was absolutely fantastic. The service was great. I love outdoor seating. Even though it was hot outside, with the patio and the trees for shade it wasn't hot at all while we were eating. Make sure you bring cash! When I was there card wasn't an option. It's still worth it though!

Not to be missed. Amazing grilled whole red snapper. A heritage recipe called Pescado Zarandeado. Well worth the cab ride north of Puerto Vallardo!

We had the best red snapper ever! It was grilled and they provided tortillas, salsa, a cream and red onions to make fish tacos. Yum!

9 of us went to Don Fernando on the recommendation of chef Norman from NWok.He recommended the whole fish platter consisting of red snapper with the typical Mexican sides. It was amazing 🙂. Highly recommended.

Hay que hacer reservación un día antes si quieres probar el pescado zarandeado. Es muy bueno, tienen muy buen sazón.
Probamos el pescado y camarones y también muy buenos.
La atención es muy buena por parte de la señora y los chicos. Sin duda un punto para comer estando en Vallarta.

Un lugar familiar y tranquilo, recomiendo el camarón empanizado, camarones cucaracha y pescado empanizado.

Buen precio en sus platillos y están bien servidos y muy bueno todo.

Falta mejorar en el aderezo de chipotle.
