A really nice piece of architecture that I stumbled across while exploring Mexico City. The stunning spire stands out from the modern buildings surrounding it. A pleasant spot to look at while walking down a road.

What a beautiful place of peace

In the heart of Colonia Roma, the best and most eclectic neighborhoods in Mexico City. La Iglesia de la Sagrada familia its a must to visit to enjoy the wonderful architecture inside and out. Next door is the Museum of Padre Pro and a couple of steps further down is the best place to eat a traditional candy "La Celaya". #LoboCDMX

Excellence in the staff directed by the Priests and Brothers of the Society of Jesus or the Jesuits . Calm and agreeable environment where you can enjoy a peaceful experience of prayer and silent meditation. Beautiful inside decoration with large scale paintings. Church frequently chosen for Fancy weddings .

What a jewel in Colonia Roma. After many visits to CDMX this was my first visit to Sagrada Familia. The first church to be built in Roma, it was completed in 1925 after an interruption of several years due to the Revolution. Breathtaking in its beauty, I specially loved the Gothic construction and the stained glass windows. As part of a Church pilgrimage tour, we had the privilege of having our priest celebrate mass during our weekday visit. Museo Padre Pro is next to the church and it displays the life and sacrifice of this Jesuit martyr who was executed during times of religious persecution.

Truly beautiful and filled with peace. The building is deceptively large which is not apparent from the outside. Many beautiful and unique murals fill the church. On the stage-right side of the altar, the relics of Blessed Miguel Pro are contained in a silver ossuary. Attached to the church is a small museum and gift shop dedicated to the life of Blessed Miguel Pro who was publicly executed for ministering to those in need when the anti-Catholic Calles government was in power. Included in the museum are the clothes Fr. Pro was wearing when he was executed.

Spectacular venue for a religious wedding, or most any other ceremonial spiritual experience (short of deep Nature).

Great place to listen to mass when you are visiting ! After mass they had food some . We were very happy we felt like home .

This church houses the remains of Fr Miguel Pro, a heroic Jesuit priest and martyr of the Mexican government’s oppression of the Catholic Church in the 1920s. There is also a wonderful museum with many of his belongings. It is well worth a visit!

Enjoyed a beautiful Easter service. An elderly gentleman entered with the aid of a cane. At the end of mass, while standing in the pews he broke out in song and it brought me to tears. I didn't understand a word he sang...so soulful. Thank you to however you are.

El sacerdote ofreció una excelente misa, muy participativa y conmovedora. El templo es hermoso, invita a la reflexión.

Increible parroquia de estilo neogótico, hay muchos y muy variados restaurantes y bares cercanos a la parroquia, por lo que la zona es muy agradable para visitar.
