Excellent restaurant in the heart of downtown Queretaro w.lovely servers, atmosphere and amazing, authentic Mexican cuisine.

This is a beautiful colonial mansion turned hotel and restaurant with a warm and laid back atmosphere. The entrees are outstanding and in large portions. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan. I ordered a steak stuffed poblano with a side of seasoned rice. Absolutely delicious!

Treated us like royalty..........Everyday, sometimes three times a day......Fruit, entrees ( tacos,chile relleno, omelletes, etc ) juices( jugos) ,every thing popped with freshness and beautiful memorable flavors. You see the chicken soup with rice,veggies, condiments( limes,onion,jalapeno,chips,bread, Jamaica juice. Under four u.s. dollars. Comfort food on a whole different level. They serve with a smile and eagerness to satisfy....

Las Llave

This is a restaurant attached to a hotel called Hotel Hidalgo.

As with all the buildings located in the historic center of Querétaro, this used to be someone’s house and now it has been turned into a hotel.

The seating area has a basically the patio of the house, you can see the second floor balconies that lead to the rooms.

As for the food it was very good. The chilaquiles with meat were mouthwatering., the steak was cooked well and had great seasoning.

The chicken soup as a starter called consume was especially filling, asked for a side of rice that I always add to chicken soup.

Service was fast and prompt, on weekends there may be wait.

Authentic Mexican experience! So glad I found this place. Atmosphere was incredible and food was fantastic.

We had 2 great dishes...Chile Nogales and Chipotle Chicken and finished with Flan for dessert. Great service, good prices, an excellent find indeed!

It a great central place it has a good selection of food and I was surprised it was very good and I’m a very picky eater so that’s saying a lot. I would definitely eat here again the prices are fair and the service is decent. I like that they give you chips and salsa to start.

The best breakfast ive had in the year and a half i have lived in Queretaro. Went at 9.00am which was lucky as by 9.45am it was full. Tasty and clean food, good service, good price and good atmosphere. Will be back.

Great place to go eat. Nice atmosphere. My wife and I really enjoyed our meal her. The beans and rice tasted homemade. That's what you want to look for in a Mexican restaurant.

It is a nice restaurant in a pretty courtyard of a hotel. Our food looked and tasted great with lots of flavor. Our waiter was very attentive. It was our second visit and we will definitely return.
