Mercado "La Cruz"

During our few days visit en Queretaro, we came to this market for breakfast (gorditas, sopes, chamorros, tamales, atoles), lunch (mariscos) dinner (birrias) and fruits and jugos! We met lots of friendly and generous locales. None of them was trying to overcharge us. We loved it very much!

It's a local market in Queretaro where you can buy anything for home needs such as vegetables, meat, fish, chicken, baking items, plates and utilities for food, electric items, toys, paper items, sausage, sauce, etc. There is shop bamed Molino where you can buy nuts, Chilli powder, rice powder, maida powder, Turmeric, Garam masala, etc at a cheap cost.
The best part is that most if the items are available at a reasonable price. The parking space is limited and hence it us advised to reach there earlier in case you're in a hurry to leave back. The staff here is very friendly and many of them know English too. In case you can't find someone to help you

I was pleasantly surprised to find this market close to the Raizor Hotel. It is definitely an authentic Mexican experience. The people are friendly and engaging. The Mercado offers everything from fruits,vegetables, meat,clothing,housewares, delicious rotisserie chicken, freshly made coffee, and sandwiches. The highlight was the taco stand. It has been there since 1978. Everything they made was awesome and reasonable in price. My only complaint would be that I didn't take any photos to share the experience. I would suggest also visiting this area in the evening when the market is closed. There are various food trucks and stalls that set up with their authentic Mexican dishes. 👌 From tortas to tacos, Mexican street food is worth the experience. Happy belly ,happy life.

If you want to experience the real Mexico of the people you won't be disappointed.
In the same environment you will find fresh meat, fresh seafood, dry goods, fresh squeeze juice, kids toys, clothing, freshly prepared foods to be served on demand and many more... it's always fascinating and exciting to be walking the market. Highly recommended.

All in one place.. Big Bazaaaaar

You can find almost everything in the market, often for lower prices than stores. I mostly go to buy fresh, cheap produce or to get lunch in the food court.

This place is Awesome! Tacos are already good but with this Environment makes them that much better!! Come check out the great vibes !!!

This is a crazy place, in front of this market there are bird vendors, they have everything, from rare parrots to common pidgeons! Inside there are a lot of food stands and juice shops so you won't leave hungry or thirsty!

Everything you could ever want from a Mexican market. Fruit, meats, breads, clothing, shoes,house wares, furniture, pirated music and movies ha ha The prices are incredibly low. Come check it out and get your Mexican fix.

A true Mexican experience, this mercado is mostly abundant fresh foods and food bars offering prepared fare. Get ready to see whole gutted pigs and goats hanging ready to be butchered into favored cuts while several varieties of sausages futher decorate the meat stalls. This is "for real" farm-fresh food. On weekends, farmers and cheesemakers appear with their produce and home-made products. On Sundays stalls cover the parking lot selling everything everything from purses and underware to movies and electronics and making it impossible to park.

:) Ran out of money 1/2 way through & had to call Uber to get my bounty home. Fun market, beautiful fresh flowers, handmade items, household good.... good experience & will definitely go back for some fresh pan dolce & fresh cut daisies. Plan on spending all day- need time for the stores all around the market too.

If you're looking for a truly unique and authentic Mexican market experience, Mercado La Cruz is definitely the place to go. The selection of birds for sale is really beautiful, but it's a bit sad to see them all trapped in cages. Overall, it's a great place to visit and do some shopping, especially if you're looking for something really unique and different.

Awesome place for fresh herbs and vegetables

It was a such great time i ever had whenever i visit this local market. They have everything i need . the people in the market are so kind and considerate. And they have food in the morning and night time with reasonable price and delicious.

Best place for a food and shopping trip

Garibaldi is the name of the food spot at night... If you can't find what to eat here then you must not be hungry. There are about 200 food vendors here. Food is delicious and reasonable prices.

Best tacos de guisado and milkshakes or smoothies. I also saw you can find vegetables and other stuff for the house or business as well as flowers.

If you can't find what you're looking for here, its either super exclusive or doesn't exist. Food, pet food, computer gadgets, odds and ends for the home, groceries and even a pretty in-depth floral section. The mercado has everything you're looking for and transforms at night to have one of the best taco stand options with several competing taquerias.

Safe walking distance from Centro Histórico. OMG, the tacos are yummy, I ate quesadillas and eggs tacos. My friend tried carnitas, fried patatos. You can ask for tacos or a plate. Go where you see lots of ppl eating. Clean place, hand-made tortillas too!
