Las Rocas Resort and Spa

My new go-to. the Infinity pool is not heated like the one adjacent which is unfortunate. In the suites, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. the views are paramount. hands down the most beautiful views I've seen locally here without having to jump on a plane. there are two ways that you can go down to the ocean leading to the rocks. far left of the pool and the far right of the resort. if you wait mid afternoon, the water levels go down so that you can walk the coast and see l all types of sea life within the rocks.

Recommend going during the weekday if you're looking for quiet.

Updating this review because I have never been here during the busy seasons. I'm sure they have way more staff than what was present during the weekday for my trip. Beautiful beautiful resort. Very comfortable beds in the suites... The woman at the front was extremely accommodating.

I enjoyed my stay here. It's clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean from the hotel is gorgeous. They have a heated pool and hot tub. I recommend bringing supplies like water, snacks and stuff you would want from a convenient store. There is one small store about 5 minutes away walking. The store is very limited on supply. You can get hot meals from their restaurant at the hotel.

The hotel has beautiful ocean views, especially during sunset time. The service is friendly and professional. The hotel has two pools, one heated and an infinity pool with more amazing views. They offer a pool table and a fire pit. Their outside eating area is very relaxing, especially during breakfast. The rooms can use some upgrades and can get cold in the night.

Amazing place, lovely setting, service is fantastic and food is great. We had a delicious time here, hanging with the seagulls at the pool, enjoying the tap room they have. There is two pools and two hot tubs at the property. And the views are so amazing, I will not try to describe them, look at the pics.

This hotel is so charming and cute! The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was great at both the dinner and breakfast restaurants, but the WiFi was terrible and the rooms were pretty basic and a little dated, but still comfortable. We loved the pools and jacuzzi more than anything, that was definitely our favorite part!

Beautiful views from the room, the customer service is excellent. The jacuzzi temp was perfect for the cold weather. Beautiful gardens. The bed could be more comfortable, not cozy. The overall experience was fantastic.

My partner and I came here to celebrate our 5th anniversary and it blew us away. The resort is lovely and the views and location on the coast are absolutely stunning. It took our breath away. We stayed in a Gaviota suite and it was so lovely - I especially loved the fireplace in the room for a cozy vibe. You can get firewood at the shop next to the hotel, it’s about a 3 minute walk. The staff are so kind and helpful, they really made our stay even better. There was ample parking for our car and it’s included. The food at all the restaurants is really tasty and the drinks and cocktails they make are all great. We booked this last minute and I’m so glad they had availability and that we ended up staying here - it was a lovely romantic weekend. I highly recommend staying here and exploring down at the beach - I won’t say more so that it can be an adventure! Explore the grounds - they are magical.

I also have to shout out the spa - when I set out to plan the trip, my primary objective was to find a spa. I ended up finding a spa and hotel all in one at Las Rocas. My partner and I got the Therapeutic Massage, Scalp Massage, and the Hydrating Anti-Stress facial. They have a lovely couples massage room with a view over the ocean. The massage is the best massage I’ve ever had in my life and my partner loved his too. I will definitely be back for a weekend of rest and relaxation and a spa visit. This will be my special relaxation getaway from now on!

The place is amazing! really nice views, the room was clean & bed was comfortable.

the food was delicious & bar tender Rodolfo makes the best margaritas.

My husband and I wanted a little getaway and decided to stay here for a weekend. The hotel is a great value for the price! The rooms are little a outdated but really for the prices you should not be expecting the Ritz Carlton. Staff was very friendly and services/food was great. Would definitely return.

I love staying at Las Rocas! It’s such an amazing location and the staff is so nice! I like the food and atmosphere at the restaurant and also that they have a live musician on weekends. It’s nice to have different options for swimming and soaking in the hot tub. Some of the rooms have amazing views!

Great place to take a love one or family. Just be careful with the corrupted cops at night they will accuse you for drinking or for not stopping at any stop signs. They will try to get money from you for any reason. I suggest take drinks and drink at the resort and have a good time there.

Beautiful place, well maintained. The food was delicious everytime. The service was excellent and even the spa treatments i had were wonderful. Patricia is a master with the hot stones and Martha was incredibly delicate with my deep cleansing facial.

Had to leave to fix some car issues so i missed out on my manicure and pedicure for the next day , but i will be back!

Amazing Breakfast The Chilaquiles Are A Must Try And Prices Are Great!! Eating Outside Next To The Water Was A Must Try! I Had To Go A Second Time While I Was There To Eat. The Bar And Pool Were Amazing

My hubby and I simply loved it, with its beautiful landscapes and awesome atmosphere. We stayed for one day, and everyone that worked there was polite and attentive. The drinks were pretty good and certain foods were delicious. Just hearing the waves so close to our rooms was a fantastic experience. Everyone that worked there were professional and courteous...Next time will stay longer, and go in the weekend. Hopefully, the experience will be the same and better,,,

I was celebrating with my cousin, it was he's wedding, and they merry looking at the ocean. They got nice bars, one outside, and another one inside the building, they also have a private Saloon, for any kind of event.

Really great food!
The food was super affordable and great! You definitely got a lot for what you paid for. We got there late and had dinner. The seafood tasted fresh and was prepared correctly. The following morning we had breakfast, the complimentary american-style breakfast for staying at the hotel was excellent and adding eggs benedict was phenomenal! The View if you ate outside was beautiful and peaceful. The hotel room was adequate, not perfect but not horrible either. Will definitely return there again.!

All rooms are ocean view two pools at least one is heated two jacuzzis. Stay here every time I am in the area. Staff are always nice and pleasant have never had any issues. Great food as well . Great bar everything you need .
