Hotel Indigo La Paz Puerta Cortés

The location and beach are pure heaven. Very thoughtful designed beach club. So reasonably priced all the yummy food and drinks. I could move in tomorrow. Set in an area of stunning natural beauty with lots of birds and fish. Shells on the beach. Peaceful and serene. Ssssh don’t tell anyone or they will all come 👍👍👍❤

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Indigo as part of our honeymoon. The location is great, on a peaceful harbor with multiple dining options. The rooms were brand new and beautifully done.

We both agree that the best part about this resort was the staff. Every single person on site was warm and kind and we felt right at home. On multiple occasions, staff members went above and beyond to make our stay special, and one that we will look upon with fond memories for the rest of our lives.

I am going to give this a 5 star review but there were some problems related to my stay.

Pros

Probably one of the nicest rooms and locations I have ever stayed. The balcony was gorgeous and the part of the hotel I stayed at was furnished to a very high standard.

Gorgeous view of harbour.

Service and staff were great, very friendly and attentive.

Beach club was plush and felt very special.

Cons
Hotel was still under development so there was no gym, only one restaurant, limited breakfast options and no indoor pool.

Shower often only had cold water.

Could smell solvent in room from work taking place

Despite the issues I would definitely return as it is clear that the hotel will be excellent once the development is completed.

Beautiful resort. The staff is an 11 out of 10. The food, from breakfast to dinner was also excellent. The rooms are new, with plenty of amenities.

La Paz had been on our bucket list for years because my friends and I always wanted to swim with the whale sharks. We're frequent Cabo travelers, but never had the time for the 2+ hour drive each direction. For our April 2023 trip we decided to make it exclusive to La Paz and it did not disappoint. The hotel is definitely not 5 stars. We walked in expecting the Ritz Carlton and that's not Costa Baja. However, the rooms were pristinely clean, service was exceptional (Ritz level), and the maid service was perfection. The maids are up early (just like us) and our rooms were cleaned daily before 10AM (which is exactly how we like it). The property itself is small, but if you are looking for a secret pool, check out the pool by the gym. We had that to ourselves, which was wonderful. At night the property is quiet, tranquil, and perfect. During the day there were the occasional rowdy party folks at the main pool, but we were out on the ocean or at the spa, so we didn't mind. The only improvement I would recommend is more attentive bar servers around the main pool. We had to go to the bar to get our drinks and even when tipping generously there was not an active staff of servers to make sure you always had a drink poolside. Overall this is absolutely where I would recommend staying. Be sure to try Cardon for brunch, which has the best view in all of La Paz.

very lovely hotel located in the marina next to the Hyatt and other high-end hotels. clean and well appointed rooms. exceptional service and value. breakfast/brunch daily until 12:00pm. 3 swimming pools and many places to lounge and rest. each room has a nice patio with table and chairs and strong air conditioning. multiple food and drink options all day.. 🍹🦜

I recently stayed at hotel and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, I found the parking situation a bit confusing. It wasn't clear where to park or if there was a valet service available. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a welcome beer, which was a nice touch.

The staff brought me to my room and explained the amenities, but I was disappointed that they didn't offer to carry my bags. On the bright side, when I requested ice, I was informed that there was no ice machine, but they promptly delivered a large bag of ice to my room.

The New Year's dinner at the hotel was okay, nothing exceptional. However, the service was great, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant experience. They even moved me to a better table when there was a mix-up.

There was also a mix-up at breakfast, but the hotel staff quickly resolved the issue by offering me a credit to use at their beach club. I must say, the service at the beach club was outstanding and the best I've had in a long time. Both female managers at the hotel were amazing beyond words, and I was pleasantly surprised by their exceptional service.

Although my overall stay wasn't perfect, I must commend the hotel for their ability to make things right. I was very impressed with their efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.

Great hotel with very friendly staff

Love this place. This is our second stay in 5 years. The food, bar and pool are fantastic with incredible views of the sea of Cortez. Close enough to Cabo pulmo for fabulous snorkeling or diving. Would stay here again and again when visiting Los barriles.

Nice and friendly staff!! We forgot a backpack in the lobby while heading towards the airport and they sent us a taxi with the backpack all the way to the airport. Phenomenal service! Rooms and facilities are also beautiful!! Very recommended!!

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful service! I could drink the water out of the water faucet as it was so pure. They make and clean their own water! It's very safe to be here with no worries. This is a great place to relax go boating eat at five star restaurants and have top-notch service.

Great hotel, it is in renovation and has been for the last 2 years but it still a great place in amazing spot

We love this place so much we just took a second trip too Costa Baja. The second trip was even more amazing than the first. This hotel is right next to the marina so it's a really ideal place to stay before or after sailing in the beautiful Sea of Cortez. The hotel has a really amazing pool and also has a neighboring beach club with beautiful pools for a small admission fee. There are also lots of amazing restaurants around. I highly recommend staying here if you want a really relaxing getaway.

Excellent Hotel, the rooms are very nice, comfortable beds. The food is good. The staff was super friendly, and it is a great location very close to anything you may need. The pool area is very nice with a swim up bar. If you like you can also purchase a day pass to the beach club, which i would highly recommend.

Staff were very helpful from start to finish. Rooms were comfortable and clean with large beds. There is no fridge in the rooms available. Had Golf channel on TV 👌

A rare gem (visit while is still a new unexplored hotel)

Can't beat a day of poolside drinks and apps for $25!! The hotel is beautiful, pool was awesome, food was delicious, and the staff were gracious. I would definitely visit again when in La Paz-highly recommend.

Our son's wedding. Beautiful venue. Excellent hotel amenities. Everything was first class!
